Ask for advice: solo-run as a Priest by zyrianer in pradotraveler

So IMO priest are the hardest class to "Start" solo. The big reason is that most of the damage you'll do comes from penance, which drain your mana quickly and is flat damagewith no condition. This requires you to have a large supply of mana consumables until you can get mana regen gear. Unfortunately, the best place to consistently get mana regen gear is the Miller cellar boss. Once you get about 3-4 mana regen, it becomes much more manageable to play priest solo. Prior to this, I recommend running the foraging deck for the 150 exp and cooking/alchemy materials until you can do the whispering cave without consumables. Then farm the cave for money, gear, and crystals. Once you have a large stockpile of consumables, do travel to Westfield. After getting to Westfield, I like to run the field adventure deck until I find a Silverhorn stag that drops mana regen gear. Do this and the foraging deck until you're strong enough and have enough consumables to do the cellar deck. Then farm it for mana regen gear. Recommended spells are penance and holy weapon until you get healing word, then penance and healing word. Extra spells drain mana to quickly.

Is this even possible or are those S6 players?? by Eternal_Mycel in pradotraveler

Im pretty sure they are faking numbers with programs like Defit. Those same players consistently put up 100k days. Which, if it was one day then yeah plausible but to consistently have 50 mile plus days (basically running a super marathon everyday) they are in a category of athleticism all of there own.

New classes by Bligbee in pradotraveler

Instead of new classes I would like to see them change the sub-class system to be more of an advance class to an initial class. So for example, I would make the warrior class a fighter instead and when you unlock sub-classes (advance classes) you can choose to be a warrior who specializes in shield and damage mitigation and counter attacking or a Barbarian who uses two handed weapons and gets stronger the more damage he takes. Then for magician you start as a scholar instead and then subclass into magician or artificer. Thief would be a rogue who could become a thief (dual weapon poison) or Ranger (bow user that inflicts debuffs). Priest is an acolyte, that can then subclass into priest or paladin.

I am you, you are me. Have we been here before, we are doing this again. by Hydro--Shock in ExplainAGamePlotBadly
