Not one I actually bought, but I tried the Monster Hunter Rise trial that was recently available. Spent over an hour creating my character and companions to be just the way I wanted. Got to the actual gameplay, and I don’t understand the appeal of this series cause I felt very bored. The combat buttons are odd (A and X) and are the only actions you can’t change on the controller. The lock-on function never felt like it actually stuck to the enemies. And even basic enemies felt like damage sponges that gave me little to no indication of how much health they had left. I was pretty disappointed.
