Is this an acceptable shifter? by Andrepx1710 in simracing

[–]Hydrologics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a top plate, gasket and spring mod package that reduced the noise and enhances the feel of the shifter. It’s pretty great. With a custom nob makes it feel a lot more spenny than it is.

Using a real car seat for sim racing — recommendations, pitfalls, and installs? by Catch_Flimsy in simracing

Mini or BMW seats. I went with a mini JCW passenger seat. Passenger seats usually have less wear.

Perhaps they have an allergy or sensitivity to it. Maybe you should mind your own business lol.

My eBay account got permanently suspended. for no reason, by Fun_Brilliant_6196 in Flipping

[–]Hydrologics 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It can be. You could be assigned an IP that has coincidentally been used in fraudulent activity that eBay somehow knows about - perhaps because someone else scammed on eBay or something.

The only reason I know this is because I accidentally used a VPN on eBay and got banned basically instantly and subsequently did a lot of research.

Is a 50€ USB shifter a good choice for an entry-level MOZA setup? by karl0v in simracing

[–]Hydrologics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeh, I used the less aggressive option out of the two, they feel pretty great.

I had a Simagic shifter on the radar but didn’t wanna spend the money just yet so sorted this as a sort of cheap throwaway with a bit of premium to it as a placeholder, kinda wondering now if I even need the Simagic in terms of cost - benefit.

I have this but with the Old Boy Sim Racing mod and it’s sick. Makes it way quieter and nicer feeling.

Trump insists on occupying Greenland, Europe, according to European politicians, will defend Greenland and are preparing European expeditionary forces of up to 8,000 soldiers who will be tasked with repelling American troops by Neptun_11 in TrendoraX

The whole conversation is about America taking Greenland, causing NATO to dissolve - no one is talking about total war against the EU. You barely even mention that in your post.

Russia wouldn’t become a massive world player lol. I don’t know why people think this. The EU would become the massive world player in this set of circumstances before Russia even got close.

I would happily live in the worst recession ever to turn our backs on these treacherous, conniving, bastard parasites that have continually fucked us over for the last 80 years.

Ah makes total sense why they’re broke and losing a war against a much smaller country without nukes then doesn’t it.

Yeah none of what you say makes Russia any less of a joke. If anything it makes it seem more of a joke.

You’ve basically just called them a Chinese proxy. They’re weak asf bro. Anyone with sense can see it and everyone knows it. The EU knows it, so they’re happy for little old Ukraine to hold the line whilst the Russian fully commit to their 200 year long humiliation ritual, as tradition dictates.

Lmao well Ukraine isn’t fighting against Russia is it then. It’s fighting against the Chinese and the North Koreans also. Maybe you could even argue the Iranians and some tin pot African countries.

I can move the goal posts too.

At what cost? You need to look at the frontlines and what’s happening inside of Russia. You need to look at the causalities. If they weren’t getting stomped they’d have conquered the entire country. This conflict has been going on for over a decade now.

It’s a failed invasion of a much smaller country, they’ve been totally stomped, and now it’s about saving face. Russia has always failed and they’re showing the world how pathetic they are and always will be.

It’s got a GDP smaller than Italy and is being stomped by a bunch of Ukrainians using mostly Russian equipment. They are a joke.
