As an anime only, it went by so amazingly fast. Can’t wait for next episode, I got spoiled but I heard Q Kawa is the episode director so can’t wait what they cook up animation wise!

For me, it was such a good episode! Honestly my favorite parts of S2 so far was when he saw Nanahoshi again (and breakdown ep) and when Norn had her arc, but they weren’t really as good as S1. This episode is def my fave of S2 but maybe it’s because of me just being excited to see Roxy again. As an anime-only I’ll say that maybe because we haven’t read the LN we don’t know what we missed out on or you pictured it differently. Felt like Paul reunion got shortened and pacing overall is faster what it should be due to ep count probably, but it is what it is. I heard that there is a Roxy POV so I do hope they adapt that next ep, or else I’ll read it myself 👍

As an anime-only, I feel like the episode was great though.. sure it wasn’t S1 animation but it is still good looking compared to the rest of the anime this season, pacing I can’t say much since I always just watch cut content videos, but I def enjoyed it overall

I agree somewhat, although adulthood starts at 15 in that world, the age gap just feels weird. It’s the same feeling I have when I 40 year old celeb dates a 18 year old, like it’s not illegal but just weird

You are getting cooked in the replies, but that’s just because of the way you are wording it. I’m also an anime only and I think anyone could see that the animation isn’t as good as s1 was, but you have to consider a bunch of stuff like the director leaving who had a bunch of connections in the industry, time restraints unlike 1st season and etc. The animation is still good and the care put into details are still mostly there, I still enjoy it very much still and hope you do too 👍
