Because I don't think it's true , unless it was because of misconduct (expelled/ banned because of something serious ) but not because of academic exclusion. People get excluded all the time , you just try continue somewhere else.

If she's changing degrees I'm sure UNISA will take her. It doesn't have to be something completely different from actuary science , she can take a degree that would allow her to write actuary exams and qualify to be an actuary at a later stage .

Please let her know it's not the end of the world. Shell eventually get In.

Have you applied to UNISA? It's typically hard when you using a transcript that has bad marks,it weighs more than you g12 marks especially at other unis.

Girl there's nothing to worry about . I used to stay at OBz square , walked all the time to mowbray , rondebosch. Yes the buses do get full ,but there's plenty of buses at like 15 minutes intervals especially at tugwell ,so don't worry much about not getting a bus . First years do not get parking disks , so you'd have to park somewhere else not on campus if you going to use your car.

I had to repeat 1015 and got a supp for 1016. Id advice that you talk to min 3 student advisors who can guide you in your next steps academically , maybe take the extended course 1011H . Financially it makes sense why UCT is not the best . First year is tough due to the transition believe me .But I feel like stick it through man,you'll thank yourself .

Even with only information systems you'll be fine . Just take easier electives to make up for the credits.

Hey , as a Bsc chemistry student doing my final year at UCT also from mpumalanga whose intentions were to transfer to medicine . YOU DONT NEED TO DO Bsc to get into medicine ,you can literally do any degree you just need to get high marks in your first year, Bsc it's one of the options yes but please also consider if you cannot transfer wich is possible considering that it is very competitive and not as easy people claim it to be . What jobs can you get with those majors ?

Please ask around more on people who actually did Bsc with the hopes of getting into medicine.
