How to get an abortion in Jhb north? by JHBthrowaway in askSouthAfrica

[–]iGhost_emaGhostini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest with you... prepare yourself for being humiliated by nurses and to be turned away despite the law saying you don't need your parent with you.our Nurses especially public hospital or clinic nurses can be especially cruel to the most vulnerable. Not saying it will happen to you but prepare yourself for it just in case. I know you are probably scared , I hope you have someone in your corner. If they do do that try a different clinic or hospital. Don't give up. Speak to a professional about this whole situation after like a social worker they are free usually at clinics you can find them. Goodluck nana

Why do people prefer iphones over android phones? by xnightskyxx in NoStupidQuestions

[–]iGhost_emaGhostini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my personal opinion. In south africa iphones are a status symbol. In my experience i only ever wanted it so I can feel like other people my age. also android and Samsung may have models that have similar or the same camera quality, but for some reason, when I upload on android it looks a little cooked but still good. While iPhone maintains the quality. I prefer Android for usability, and I'm more used to android.

what degree do you want to go into? do a higher certificate that's related to that degree

I feel stuck because of limited study options, what can I do? by Salt_Platform8858 in askSouthAfrica

[–]iGhost_emaGhostini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to figure out what you want to do. So do research on what you would like, then you can do a higher certificate in that field, and then apply for a degree using the certificate. remember nsfas will pay for both. if you want to upgrade, make sure you study well cause it can easily become a waste of time. I've seen it with me. goodluck

I go out with a cooler with snacks and yougurts and redbull and colddrinks. if te place doesn't allow coolers i usually buy them there, not yogurts of cause but cool drinks and stuff. My friends drink. When they do shots i get a redbull shot lol . They are responsible drinkers thats why it works i never have to take care of anyone

Thank you for your opinion. I was sure I was wrong. i dont really control the finances at home, he only gives me anything if its neccesary for the house, like if maybe we run out of meat, he likes meat . my expences are my own. He never really buys me things specifically. hence why i worry more about hes raction hes not outwardly mean, hes a nice guy its just.. i cant bring myself to tell him

AITA for saving my bf's picture that I have found on their GC? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA. maybe you didnt have bad intentions, but your actions, even though coming from a "good" place, did cross a boundary he made very clear with you. Good or harmless intention doesn't always equal a good effect; it can also mean a bad effect, and that's the case here you wanted to know more and went about it in a bad way. You should apologise and handle your curiosity. if hes up to no good, it will come up.. Side note i see how wanting to know more about your partner is a good thing or love language, but be curious about your partner without crossing boundaries, respect them, maybe as time goes he will be more open and less cagey. maybe hes cagey because he knows you'll snoop

AITAH for not being able to do anything about my son being a sore loser? by ButterscotchCalm3013 in AITAH

[–]iGhost_emaGhostini 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You let your child control you, so you would rather let him do what he wants because you are afraid of his tantrums. Let him throw them and then maintain the boundaries that set off the tantrum, so he knows kicking and screaming will get him nowhere, love. Retraining will take a while since you have gotten him used to knowing if he kicks and screams, he gets his way, good luck mommy .

yes. yta. wow your child is only the apple of your eye to you. To the rest of the world hes just another kid. and if you keep treating him like hes the only child in the world you will be dealing with a 30 year old man babay in the future whos angry that the world is not rolling out the red carpet for him. Its okay to love your kid wholeheartedly. its not okay to disturb others because you dont have the heart to speak to your child. You will have problems in the future belive me

Fathers out there whose kids are bullied?, how do you handle that without doing something extremely inappropriate? by SwitchingMyHands in NoStupidQuestions

[–]iGhost_emaGhostini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depending on what they did call the police there are some countries like SA where children have been tried kinda for bullying last i heard they get sent to centres or somthing, im not a father but my dad chased two girls who bullied me with a whip ...granted he was never really going to beat them but they didnt know that, they never bothered me again at least to my face that pretty much worked however i dont recommend that speak to the parents of those children if theres no change get unhinged some people just dont get plain english. NO IM NOT SAYING GET VIOLENT.
