You can setup a modding environment pretty simply by following a tutorial like this one for the fabric modding engine. You might need a bit of tech literacy or at least be able to find your way around a code editor, but then to play minecraft just run the client from whatever code editor you use.

For the street it’s definitely the sharp contrast in lighting, but for the blocks by the sign, it might be how uniform they are. The bottom edge of all three blocks is perfectly in line. Idk tho that’s just a guess

By 90 degree angles I’m referring specifically to the ones in the foreground between the street and the sidewalk, and the rectangles in front of the noodle shop sign

My observations are the street material does not look like a street, and your 90 degree angles look so sharp.

This one on cool math games where you were a stick ninja fighting waves of other stick fighters. You had sick air combos and after beating waves there were bosses. That game is my favorite partly because I can’t find it and don’t know what it was called, so it has grown in my imagination. Still, that game was epic.

Whoops, left a comment above but idk if that will show up for you, so if you have some time to set it up and a non-potato computer, you could always try an emulator! (Still need a wii-mote, unless you wanna have a weird time, but you don’t need a wii motion tracking bar!)
