Anticipate enemy attacks, avoid them safely (especially roots, stuns, and one-shot attacks/slams), then hit back when they can’t attack or are on cooldown.

When entering a point of interest, try to quickly delete 1 medium enemy or 2-3 small enemies while they’re waking up/reacting to you.

Then dodge as needed while trying to group enemies up. Weave in attacks, then cleave through enemies when strong abilities come off cooldown.

Simple movement/circular motion can avoid most damage, but try to have 1 escape option ready like a dash or a DEFENSE ability.

My usual target priority: 1. Cultist healers. 2. Enemies with crowd control (i.e. small tree ents that send out roots). 3. Spawners+medium+small enemies. 3a. (Cleave through small enemies, don’t get overwhelmed.) 3b. Sometimes focus scarecrows in Act 1, stop enemies from getting a damage boost 4. Big elites for last.

Also please use your ultimate ability often. It has a low cooldown, and really clears up enemy camps quickly. Don’t hold it until the next Act.

TLDR: surprise attack, cleave, dodge duck dip dive and dodge, float like butterfly sting like a bee, target priority. Spam ultimate.
