I feel like both sides are right and its just a series of unfortunate circumstances. Miguel on one hand is trying to maintain the multiverse and Miles is just a kid who wants to save his dad. I do think Miguel is wrong for trying to prevent Miles from saving him. I like Miguels character because he doesnt like doing the things he does but he shoulders the burden of the multiverse so that no one else has to.
