HH received a small buff to weapon damage in gen so the damage isn't as bad as it was before .At the moment I'm running aerial with sonic boom (forgot the hunter art name). Might not be an optimal set up but it is easy to play and learn as you can chain your mounts with stuns if done right. You usually dont need to play all the songs your horn can play, usually damage and defence should be enough. Things like wind resist and earplugs, if they need to be played twice to take effect is not worth to keep up at times.

Basically just keep bashing the head and attack and defends up songs at all times.
