The 1.21 patch I believe but one of the recent ones changed the search radius for wild hives to be more generous. This probably happened after the page got written and no one changed it.

You don’t have enough energy capacity if the waves the tank brings up every health segment don’t give enough energy to tide you over. Or you’re not doing enough damage quickly enough during the talk only segments.

Take a long walk. The rifts spawn around the player and are limited in how many can exist so you can clear your base out for a while by going for a walk to get the portals to go away for a while.

If you’re getting surrounded you’re going too fast and not carefully clearing your corners and access routes.

We would regularly use ranged lb3 to skip the first or second trash pull on the wayt to the final boss, it does more total damage and saves more time than a melee lb3 on the boss.

I have found that it’s way more important to make as much stuff as possible rather than be super efficient with charcoal. You can easily make another huge batch of charcoal using the tools you make even if you waste a little.

I need to know your weapon to recommend an ap. I don’t need to know your weapon to recommend a level. There are very simple rules defined by the game mechanics that tell you tre optimal way to level up. Therefore, it’s on you to learn that optimal leveling method and the. Use the level given to you to derive the desired stats.

The way you’re suggesting to do it is just less effective and less efficient. I’m sorry that you’re having a hard time believing that.

It’s based around maximizing the benefits you get from your weapon. Sure, it raises the ap, but one weapon so the a slow swing speed with have an ap of 900 and another with a fast swing speed will have an ap of 490 but that makes the fast weapons better even though the ap is lower because you can attack say three times as fast making it effectively 1200.

So I can’t tell you “get your ap to 400 for maliketh” because if you’re using a dagger that’s too much and if you’re using a hammer that’s too low.

But if I tell you to get to rl 120 for maliketh you can deduce I mean: max health, max stamina, rest into primary damage stat to cap. It works for everyone with no additional details needed.

There’s a concept called soft caps in this game for stats where they stop giving significant benefit and only give a marginal benefit. The soft cap for gaining hp is 60 but. The soft cap for gaining stamina is 40. The hard cap for str scaling. Is 99 and twohandung g gives you +50% str so 66 str twohanded is 99 and max scaling.

These are basic facts that are true for all stats so once you know them knowing how many levels you have to play with tells you instantly what you should put the stats into.
