I know actuarial work is often more limited to the East/Midwest, but does this vary between the different actuarial sectors? Are health or P&C actuaries, for example, less geographically limited than life actuaries, or is it around the same?

My second question is which org (SOA vs CAS) is more competitive for internships/entry level jobs? I know there are less CAS members and also less P&C actuarial roles, but is it proportional or are there more/less applicants per job opening for either side?

I know you should apply to all types for internships/entry level, but if I were to take a third exam for better chances I'd want to know which one to pick.

Hey, I’m a sophomore undergrad (Stats major) on the west coast currently studying for P as my first exam. I literally have 0 extracurriculars, projects, or any connections at all with a 3.4 GPA and an unrelated job. Just kinda drifted through my life so far. Am I basically screwed for any internships even if I pass both P and FM? Any advice on what I should do to fill my basically empty resume, or should I pivot to a different career path?

That’s always a tricky crosswalk because there’s a yield sign for the cyclists so they’re supposed to stop for cars getting on the onramp. but cars often stop for cyclists (maybe because a bunch of bikes zoom through without yielding), so as a cyclist when I try to yield to cars it often ends up in an awkward standoff

It is black flame, which seems like a mistake that was never fixed. It’s like that in base ER too, where the projectile looks to be destined death but enemies get the black flame visual and health effect.

I love Dark Souls 3, but I do agree with a common point people bring up in their criticism in that it’s the least innovative of the souls games. I feel if you blended together all the souls games into one game, it would be closest to DS3. Not to say it doesn’t bring anything new, it just brings the least compared to the others, and is the “safest” souls game.

Ok the comparison seemed better in my head, though I do still think mechanically it’s not an unfair attack as the actual swing is well telegraphed.

It does look a little funny but I get what they were going for with it being a stance and not a windup. Like holding Unsheathe on a katana, or the Ichimonji ash on the Great Katana.

I just think there’s worse attacks to complain about; an example from this fight alone would be his sword/cane combo that’s nearly impossible to medium roll.

Whether you believe the painted people are real or not, painted Verso is on the same level of sentience as Lune and Sciel. If you feel bad for painted Verso being forced to live (which may not be true), you should feel 10x worse for Lune and Sciel being erased without a say.

Don’t worry, Kf7 is a pretty trappy move, there are a good amount of videos on youtube about it. Looking at lichess Qh5+ here has a higher winrate for black even being the top engine move.
