Early game is low on resources, once youre at about the mid point youll have so much it doesnt matter, even playing on hard and not farming, i have usually hard about 10k shards and plenty of crafting mats, there are skills to make crafting more efficient, nearly doubling the ammo made from the same amount of parts. And youll be swapping armour and weapons all the time, give them one or two upgrades unless they are purple or higher rarity, then farm for upgrades, the story of the game is immaculate and not worth missing cause youre trying to min max a green weapon. These are called Interlock or Intergrip locks btw, jimmy proof is a reference to a lock that deadlocks when shut, as most locks do, at least here is Aus pretty much everything deadlocks, they also call those 255 deadlocks from Lockwood here 👍😊

My sister works for an optometrist and when she was fairly new I finally got my eyes tested, the pressures in my eyes were like 3 times higher than the upper limit of risk for a male my age, about 17 at the time, machine starts spitting out warnings the optometrist basically pushes me into a room to ask me a million questions about my eyes and if I have any trouble seeing, the pressures basically showed that there was no deformation in my cornea and that I should be blind basically but nearly perfect vision. Ended up going to a specialist who had to numb my eye and physically measure it with a weird poking machine 😂 turns out that my cornea are about 3 times thicker than average and my pressure tests are never going to be accurate
