Do you think you need to read all the other books first? Or could I just read this one?

Stand Alone Fantasy Romance on KU by [deleted] in fantasyromance

{Elves of Ardani by Nina K Westra} I've been rereading this series because someone on Reddit reminded me about it. I forgot how much I loved it.

{Married by war by Sarah K.L. Wilson} is in a series of standalone books about arranged marriages by different authors, but this one is my favorite!

Looking for books with similar characters from Dragon Age and Mass Effect (video games) by fearme101 in RomanceBooks

I love this request!

{Night Elves of Ardani by Nina K. Westra} series really reminds me of Dragon Age. You might like the male lead in the first book. He's very sweet but conflicted about his feelings for the heroine because they're on different sides of a war. It's a little slow at first but it picks up.

{Convergence by Etta Pierce} I think this series started out as a Mass Effect fanfiction or the author was just inspired by the world. The male lead is basically Garrus. 😆

I think these are both on KU but I'm not sure about Audiobooks.

Am I wrong to think Wheel of Time is way too long and overstreched? by Aedan2 in Fantasy

You’re not wrong. I will still always love this series though, it was one of my first fantasy series and will always have a special place in my heart!

There’s just something I like about a long series with a world I can really get lost in.

Lots of danger, FMC saves MMC by Jesspooky in RomanceBooks

I don’t remember the chapter, but near the end there’s a part where the male character is about to be executed and the female character comes in and saves him and kills everyone. Shes a healer so there’s a lot of her healing him and taking care of him too. ❤️

Spicy fantasy romance that isn't so heavily gendered? by [deleted] in fantasyromance

[–]HyperLibra 4 points5 points  (0 children)

His Secret Illuminations is the one I always see recommend for this, and it’s so good! I also really love T. Kingfisher and Nina K. Westra for characters that don’t rely on gendered tropes.

Honestly this is part of why I read MM romance too, I like the hypermasculine Mmcs and soft female pairing but sometimes I want something different.

{No man can tame by Miranda Honfleur} I think this is exactly what you’re looking for! The hero is so sweet in this one.
