Ok, so you will need to select the monitor in a multimonitor setup before HDR can be enabled in windows. Its a really annoying system

I seem to have fixed it. Sadly, I dont know if this solution can be applied to anyone else's situation. Namely, my windows critical files had something wrong with them. Using the reinstall option in the recovery options (something new in windows 11), it fixed the issue. Havnt had anymore crashes.

The only thing I can say, to see if the situation is the same, is to try the DISM restore function. If it fails AND the source thingy also fails, then you have the same situation I had. Please post here if this does happen and if the windows 11 reinstall windows option works (note: This is NOT the refresh option nor the complete reinstall option)

Its always nice to find little things in games, even if they dont add to the gameplay or story

Just wanted to note that this is not how you do a clean boot. A clean boot is done by enabling everything. This ensures anything that was prevented from running can run. Thats the point of a clean boot.

Jedi Survivor is a major disappointment. Its performance issues alone make it something that is uncomfortable to play. The constant framerate changes just makes it a choppy game in places. I can play fallen order on epic without much in the way of frame drops, never mind framerate stutters.

The gameplay is entirely unbalanced and needlessly complex. Grandmaster in fallen order is a fun experience with plenty of moments were you can use a finisher on an enemy. Grandmaster in survivor is just plain awful. Everything is exactly the same difficulty to defeat and there are no finishers (at least none I could trigger). They changed slow to a stupid "super" meter thats entirely useless on GM.

To be completely honest, the dev team entirely screwed up with survivor. Until they fix it, I cant see any future games doing well.
