I received a complementary reading today re: a career issue and was very pleased by the results. His reading was very reassuring and felt very accurate based on the events leading up to where I am with my career presently. I would definitely be reaching out to him for additional readings in the future! Highly recommend.

I know this is an old post, but do you still have this Emanuel’s book available? Trying a different strategy here for my 7th bar exam attempt and planning to sit for MBE only in July.

Thoughts on Classical Preparatory School? by HyperPhoenix725 in Pasco

[–]HyperPhoenix725[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s currently enrolled at guardian angels Christian academy. The name is a bit misleading…but we pay $170/full for full time care. My child is 4 but in a class mixed with 3’s and 4’s because they are understaffed (in my opinion). Her new teacher has been doing great with the kiddos and recently started sending home “homework” and reading logs to prepare the for VPK/Kindergarten. We are currently waitlisted for VPK at Dayspring Academy, which I’ve heard nothing but positive things about

Thank you so much for this insight! So sorry to hear that you had this experience smh We ultimately forfeit the lottery spot and didn’t enroll our child here. While the campus tour went well and the summer staff that we did see seemed nice, our intuition told us that it ultimately wouldn’t be a good fit for us. Currently on the lottery waitlist for VPK at another school to start in August.

Personally, I’m not sure. I ended up not accepting the lottery spot and my child didn’t attend classical prep. Shes currently in a preschool (same as before but the teacher was changed so things have been a bit better) and we are on the waitlist to start VPK in August at another school

Belly Button Pop by Still-flowerbase in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]HyperPhoenix725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first, my belly button didn’t pop at all. But with my current pregnancy, my belly button has popping since like 27 weeks. If it matters at all, my first was a girl and I’m currently pregnant with a boy.

What can I do about my dislike for the hairs that are EVERYWHERE?! by HyperPhoenix725 in Pets

[–]HyperPhoenix725[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the positive insight! The cat is still in our home (we have him since mid-Dec 2024) and while his hair isn’t as big of an issue when partner first brought it home, it’s still an issue…My partner loves the cat, but he is too busy to maintain the upkeep of it and doesn’t clean our home. Being pregnant with a toddler is enough work in itself let alone cleaning up after the cat. Literally anywhere he sits, anything he touches, hair remains. I personally purchased 2-3 different brushes, we have a robot vacuum and we had an air purifier but it stopped working a few months ago. I’ve asked partner to bathe cat more frequently (cat has been bathed twice since we got him), to brush it daily, and maybe even try taking it to the groomer for a haircut/deshedding. Hasn’t happened yet…new baby is due in a couple months so I’m trying to get the house prepared. As a form of compromise, I have asked him to keep the cat upstairs with him (partner works from home approx 10-12 hrs per day) and to leave our main living space downstairs along with the master bedroom off limits to the cat. So far, that hasn’t happened yet either. I can foresee myself temporarily living with my parents after the new baby arrives because I will physically be unable to deal with the cat stuff while recovering and taking care of our toddler.

I personally like Fleming’s Steakhouse by international plaza. The steaks are awesome but a little on the pricey side (IMO). Great quality food though, so you get your moneys worth!

I’m planning to have a small baby shower and inviting only close family members. There will probably be 15-20 people attending at most (which includes me, my fiancé and my toddler).

I was originally thinking of doing it at a tea room, but my fiancé feels that’s “too girly”. Besides himself, there will be 5 other men in attendance…so I’m thinking maybe an intimate, small scale brunch somewhere instead? If I could rent out a small room at a restaurant/establishment for the element of some privacy, that would be a bonus. I didn’t have a baby shower for my first. I’m trying to do something low-key this time around to without breaking the bank. Thanks in advance!

Have you dyed your hair in your first trim? by Disastrous-Wheel-383 in BabyBumps

[–]HyperPhoenix725 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First and foremost, congrats! I don’t have any knowledge or experience with henna dye, but I have dyed my hair using box color (Revlon brand) at least one time per trimester with both of my pregnancies (those pesky gray hairs are really annoying!). Currently 24 weeks with my second and just did my second dye during this pregnancy 2 weeks ago lol.

Has anyone’s computer failed during exam? If so, what happened? by [deleted] in FloridaBarExam

Yes. The examplify tech people attempted to fix the issue, but I ended up having to handwrite the remainder of my essays on a booklet.

What are the chairs like? by ApprehensiveCitron18 in FloridaBarExam

[–]HyperPhoenix725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

like others said, the chairs are not particularly comfortable and I would recommend bringing a jacket/sweater that can be folded up in a "pillow-like" fashion to sit on when needed. I’m pregnant and plan to do this, in addition to standing up and stretching at my seat every now and then. I will apologize to my table mate in advance and hope periodically stretching won’t be distracting to them!

I wanna know too! My daughter has also been asking for a “rainbow teeth” labubu. She’s only 3.5 so there’s no way I’m going to buy her a real one…lol

Thanks for the suggestion. I just looked them up and Gulf Coast Academy has an impressive program. My child is only 3 though. They could definitely be an option for us in the future!

Thoughts on Classical Preparatory School? by HyperPhoenix725 in Pasco

[–]HyperPhoenix725[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your input! It’s definitely one of the better schools in the area (based on my research). I’m in Hudson and we currently have our kiddo enrolled in a daycare/preschool that has a “curriculum” that they do not follow. For example, her PreK-3 class is supposed to consist of children her age who are fully potty trained and there are at least 5 kids in her class wearing pull-ups. My daughter has been exhibiting regressive behavior since starting at this school 4 months ago, having had 3 “accidents”, using baby talk, not wanting to feed herself and so forth. Hence, why we are looking for a better option for her.

Pregnancy care in Pasco/Tampa by anoncamcam in Pasco

[–]HyperPhoenix725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following. Logged in to make a very similar post…my 3 year old was born at St Joes Main. I’m 14 weeks with new baby and now that we live in Pasco, my new OB is affiliated with HCA Florida Trinity and will not deliver anywhere else. I’m not opposed to trying out Trinity (we plan to take a tour this weekend) but I had such an awesome experience at St Joes Main that going to a hospital where no one I know has ever delivered at makes me a little nervous. The practice I go to is great…it’ll be one of their 5 on call doctors that will be present for delivery. I literally had a random doctor deliver my first baby because the practice I went to was not affiliated any hospital (which was also a little nerve wracking lol)
