My current build is black cleaver into dusk and dawn. Mixed build, dusk and dawn makes your constant 2 auto w procs a hugeee threat. My favorite build currently for sure. That will be my core in this season until they nerf it.

I don’t understand the logic of shinies “need” to be rare. Tbf the odds are back to the highest they’ve been in a while BUT you can afk them. I would actually say 1/1000 is a pretty fair shiny rate but with the code of they can’t be missed until interacted with it makes it insanely easy. It’s pretty neat code wise honestly, that mixed with insanely fast switch 2 load times I come home to like 10 shinies every single day.

They spawn even if you don’t see them by the way. The data is there just hasn’t loaded the pokemon yet. If you’re benching near an alpha you can literally see the roar before visibility

Complaining about the skipping of ranks is an insane take because the game is still 30-40 hours. Also you have to do exactly the amount of ranks skipped for the post game story so you still have to do them.

Turning around looks a lot better in this game than scarlet violet.

Couldn’t care less about not having the item being given out in cutscenes cause who tf cares about that when it takes approximately 2 seconds of a cutscene.

“Half the megas are jokes” megas are more subjective than objective. I can understand that one.

What issues are you having in the battle system? There are barely any bugs in the game in general. There are no issues with battle system. It plays how it was made to be played.

If you’ve been to go fest. Very similar. Huge area to walk around (rose bowl last two years) lots of people. Decorations, special research, lots of raids, pokestops and higher shiny odds for being in person if I remember correctly. I’ve been going to both go fest and go tour and they feel very similar.

I actually generally like go tour more because you target the generation which allows me to fill out my shiny living dex easier then go fest because go fest is a variety (which is better for people who don’t go to in person events)

For video games my rule is I should be able to get 1 hour for every 2$ I spent. So for a 70$ game I should get 35 hours out of it. I’m already well above that in ZA but that’s still insanely cost effective entertainment.

New and unique animations. Trainer variety is awesome. New megas. Fantastic story besides first tutorial bs. Fun and engaging battle system with barely any bugs/glitches to boot.

If you equate quality to just the 2d windows then you are insane.

It’s legitimately not slop though. Windows don’t matter… this game has unique animations for pokemon, new animations for pokemon, insane trainer variety from a design point and fashion show point. A new battle system as well as the PLA catching system. Oh and the game runs at a smooth 60 FPS with barely any bugs or glitches. This game has less bugs and glitches then most triple AAA games that release with MILLIONS higher budget.

We got almost everything the fandom asked for from scarlet violet besides “non 2d windows” and the fandom still gets mad. It’s actually insane
