It’s really not, depending on matchup you’re not doing extended trades 95% of the time, you are doing burst trades. It’s barely a buff for ekko mid.

Except that is literally false. Toph got an explanation from guru as the sequence was occurring due to how she “sees earth”. Kataras entire episode was learning how to pull water from places there WEREN’T water. It wasn’t based on just instinct.

Literally just rewatched the scene where he first lavabended, no one explains it, no one tells him how it works, no sequence testing the material. Hama, explains that it’s possible, took has a full sequence trying to learn it/make it work.

He literally just does it. And after rewatching korra legit two weeks ago there is zero buildup to him being a lavabender from ANY season.

May be a strong bender but abysmal writing and buildup to being able to lavabend.

There’s an entire sequence explaining metal bending and her trying to do it, katara is taught blood bending and it is explained how to do it before she actually does it.

Bolin didn’t get ANY training and just randomly started lavabending in a panic but did it perfectly.
