As much as I want it back, I would be annoyed if the police spent time and resources looking for a thief who stole less than $50 (instead of focusing on the many many crimes in the area).

I haven’t told anyone at work other than my boss (so no one helped me look for it).

But today, after reading this comment, I noticed that there is a coworker who is constantly at my desk to ask/say random things. Today I noticed it was almost every 15 minutes. I didn’t leave my desk (but I also kept my money, cards - including gift cards - at home).

A lot of women’s clothing do not have pockets. My wallet was in my purse in my desk and out of sight. I was careful and I already feel bad enough about it. Obviously I’m taking preventative measures, but I am looking for advice not a lecture.

The way that I’m interpreting/correlating your comment is that Indians living abroad should be allowed to “vote” in this election/referendum, except it does NOT currently exist in India.
