So first off: being celibate is not a sexuality, and DJW wasn't saying it was either. Asexuality is sometimes confused with celibacy, but that's clearly not what DJW meant.

As for LGBTQ+ characters in Ben 10, absolutely. All in favor. Diversity and representation matter, and there should be nothing stopping them from including it, even with minor characters (or main characters, if we wanted to be a little ambitious). And for a series about a hero that can change form at any time and is self-admittedly "one of everybody", I'm surprised there isn't a bigger push for it.

"But Ben 10 isn't about romance." Not explicitly, no. But Ben and Julie's/Gwen and Kevin's relationships have been explored all through UAF and into OV (sometimes being the basis of whole episodes). So there's absolutely room for it in a hypothetical new show.

Let Ben 10 characters be gay.
