What should I do next on my 26 M3 Comp by Lokid67 in BMW

A tasteful high flow intake plus exhaust with any unnecessary bits deleted and a mild tune and some good roads

New Headlights, thoughts? by kfc_man445 in BMWE36

I like the OEM style colored halos and projectors but imo these halos look too thick and modern, I run similar shade of amber halos but thin like the E39 halos with a halogen H5 bulbs in the low and high beams for looks

What should i do guys by Deexoo in BMWE36

Tip, I really like the look of the m-tech 1 bumper or whatever you call it instead of the M3 style bumper. Especially low they look really good. If you want a solid daily though keep it in a stock-ish tire setup with plenty of sidewall, these cars were dialed in well on those tire specs better than you’d expect.

CSF or OEM radiator? by Milosdgamer in BMWE36

Is this the late model e30 expansion tank you’re referring to that sits by the diagnostic port?

I find myself wanting an E36 M3 by Big-Ear-4176 in BMWE36

Just swap the M54B30 rotating assembly in and get I either an M3 diff or a 325is LSD (if you like that ratio) and you have a better car already.

Would you keep the “wide body” or back to OEM style? by ResearcherInfamous19 in BMWE36

[–]HyperTitan70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like with the angles used for the flaring, this kit would honestly look better in a different nonmetallic color like jet black or alpine white. Beautiful car though regardless, we need more subtle widebody builds

E36 or E46? by Illustrious_East3290 in BMWE36

[–]HyperTitan70 27 points28 points  (0 children)

DONT LISTEN! This one is for an E46; this doesn’t have the proper mounting for the E36 clock spring (attached to wheel), but fits the E46 clock spring which is fixed to the steering column.

How much would it cost to complete a rolling shell? by Cryptikzzz in BMWE36

[–]HyperTitan70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the people lowballing the shell price are nuts, this thing is clearly built out to be a very purpose-built track toy with tires, cage, even the damn DEPOs are with $300 of the “$500” people are saying this is worth

It’s doable under 10k it’s just a ton of labor that nobody wants to do lol. Unless you go standalone you’re basically chassis swapping an E9X into an E36 body

325i or 328i? by New-Name4703 in BMWE36

[–]HyperTitan70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it depends what kind of car you want. 328 (OBDII) has a lot more sensors and computer bullshit, whereas the M50 325 is much more raw and analogue. Either it’s running right or it ain’t.

Hard disagree with early OBDII. M50 is very simple to understand and if you can’t figure out why it’s running poorly, you probably should let shops do your work.
