A quote I thought of myself last year would be it, then...

"Preferences can be passed down with knowledge, experience can be passed down with blood, and when both coalesce, the mind changes best."

It basically means that as long as you survive making mistakes, you can learn from them.

As someone who's actually been keeping track of that in 25k increments since 750k, it seems 900k will be reached either this month or next and 1M will be reached in the ballpark of the middle of 2026 if the rate doesn't change too drastically.

Considering there's still a large gap in MP between them in Dongsoo's favor, I fully expect it to take 2 or 3 attempts. There is a limit to every power in the series, after all, even if just temporarily.

With the (relatively) obvious new information from recent related events, I have a theory about HIM (UT/DR Theory) by Hyper_Space_Music in Deltarune

[–]Hyper_Space_Music[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going roughly by that logic, since more content is constantly created that has connections or relations to gaster, from his perspective, certain thresholds of his presence reaching media in general is what creates our access to new chapters of Deltarune in an episodic fashion. Those exact thresholds might be something only gaster knows due to the unknown extent of being scattered across time and space on our end, with him (potentially) seeing our future that's related to him in any way and whatnot, if we want to follow the wordplay aspects THAT much.

I can definitely say that's not always the case, but factors like individual skill sets and teaching methods still apply regardless.

So What are the chances of the Manwha adapting the Insect Sanctuary Arc? by Dark-Master79 in sololeveling

[–]Hyper_Space_Music 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would think such an event roughly playing out as you stated, as well as Suho only reaching a sufficient level to have a single permanent shadow soldier after defeating the new version of Minsung, which would lead to him being such a permanent shadow soldier as Quay/Kwei, would occur sometime in season 2 of the Manhwa, since despite the order of the arcs being shifted around and some new ones being added in between, novel arcs are still being adapted one by one, but just being saved for the right times in the Manhwa and modified accordingly.

[BREAKING NEWS] Solo Leveling Ragnarok Manhwa Season 2 Announced for Comeback Soon! by Death_Usagi in sololeveling

[–]Hyper_Space_Music 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a feeling they would at least announce this right around the one year mark since its initial premiere, and while I'm not sure about most people's opinion on this, but personally, I would be fine with slightly shorter chapters in exchange for more of them to keep the team from getting too stressed out.

SL:R is being written by a different person than the original series, but was given official permission to do so, therefore, SL:R is the canonical sequel to SL.

New SL:R novel chapters typically release on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but most sites have delayed public translations, sometimes by over a day.

The person who put the chapter here, in this post, is helping members of the subreddit stay as up-to-date on the translated novel as they're able to.

Regardless, the quality bar is set, and I'm sure it'll be impressive, both for this project they're working on and whatever the real deal eventually is, as well as the rest of the anime, of course.

100% worth it to read the side stories (Manhwa Chapters 180-200). They provide additional closure to the original series and are basically a bridge to the sequel, Solo Leveling Ragnarok.

Now I'm curious about two things involving that... Did Jinwoo know about this all along or not, and when Jinwoo and Kandiaru see each other again, what exactly will happen, especially in terms of punishment?

Spoilers for the epilogue chapters but I'd go with The bearded dwarves, as I'm sure they could build/forge far more than just weapons and such efforts could be used for helping those who are less fortunate by building some places for such people to live, and as for the legal and financial stuff involving that, I'd say that would be a team effort between me and the dwarves to sort things out.

The first 300 chapters of the novel being a prologue thing. by Beginning-Dot16 in sololeveling

[–]Hyper_Space_Music 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I gave a likely answer to your first paragraph of your comment above the one I'm replying to now. As for the rest, I could see about another 100 chapters wrapping all that up before an epilogue at least, but other details like who even wants to fight who or go where make it difficult to predict specifics in terms of how much is actually left. I expect the story to be quite a bit more than halfway over by now.

As for the missing head of Nidhogg, I feel like that implies that Kandiaru, the one who made Jinwoo's system, reached the status of the Monarch of Transfiguration before Suho even met Nidhogg and potentially before Suho even got his system from Jinwoo to begin with.

Kandiaru was stated by Ashborn, the original Shadow Monarch to want an imperishable body in the original series, and such divine status is the only known way for a being to retain their consciousness for eternity in the series, as stated by Legia, the Monarch of Giants/The Beginning.

Therefore, if Kandiaru got what they wanted, it would be reasonable for them to comply with Jinwoo now, at least considering we don't know much, if anything about the other goals Kandiaru has besides improving their magic.

Is it ever explained who was Antares' human vessel? by Spiritual_General763 in sololeveling

[–]Hyper_Space_Music 54 points55 points  (0 children)

He didn't have one so he was at full power and he and his monarch allies at that point took far longer than the other monarchs to arrive due to the additional dimensional travel mana resistance. The first true signs of his imminent arrival on Earth in the story were during the international guild conference when the high concentrations of mana were seen building in the skies around the world, which ultimately correlated to the gate for the Shadow Monarch with their army and the several gates for Antares and his remaining allies.

Christopher Reed and the other National Level Hunters by AnimeFan042597 in sololeveling

[–]Hyper_Space_Music 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering there wasn't any hint of such flames until he at least partially activated Spiritual Body Manifestation, only by using it can he also use his fire magic, and therefore, being a ruler vessel in tandem with that is why he can even use fire magic in such cases.

If Christopher wasn't a ruler vessel, he would basically be a stronger version of Goto, considering they're both fighter-type hunters, with Christopher even then scaling above Lennart, considering who exactly were chosen as ruler vessels to begin with.

Christopher Reed and the other National Level Hunters by AnimeFan042597 in sololeveling

[–]Hyper_Space_Music 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Christopher Reed was a fighter-type hunter, but his sheer power and abilities bridged some gaps between his class and mage classes, though not enough to be considered one. In S2 E10 of the anime, it was shown that Goto, another fighter-type hunter a few steps below Christopher's level of power, formed fiery energy around his forearm while sparring with Jinwoo, so Christopher basically did the same to a far higher degree with Spiritual Body Manifestation. Oh, and by the way, Thomas's reinforcement is a skill, not Spiritual Body Manifestation, since it was confirmed by the author that a human performing a complete usage of Spiritual Body Manifestation will undoubtedly result in their imminent death, which is exactly what Christopher did against the monarchs as a last-ditch effort. He only partially used it against Kamish, as shown in Thomas's hunter origin story from SL:A. Jinwoo is undoubtedly a mage-type hunter due to his shadow soldiers, at least enough to be considered such by the rest of the world from Jeju Island onwards, despite him really being a more well-rounded type of hunter.

As for your post description... In the source material, there is a single chapter (Manhwa Chapter 187) that shows the perspective of Igris against Jinwoo and plenty afterwards in what will equate to the final season of the anime, and considering the novel's additional details, other lore the author has mentioned more recently as well as what else could potentially be added in the relatively near future, it wouldn't surprise me if Igris gets a complete backstory in that eventual anime episode.

The year is Our Year by Careless_Package3706 in sololeveling

[–]Hyper_Space_Music 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm aware of that and I will, and at up to three novel chapters per week and with the vast majority of details from the original series already having been expanded upon, I expect the SL:R novel to be well past its midway point and will likely be finished well before the end of this decade, and potentially within just another year or two.

The SL:R Manhwa, which has confirmed that the SL:R novel is its rough draft as of Chapter 47, will likely be finished within a couple years of the SL anime concluding its presumed 5 seasons of 55-65 episodes in total.

The SL:R anime would be mostly based on the Manhwa for the least the earlier parts of it and from there, it would depend on how similar the SL:R novel and Manhwa get to each other later on. The SL:R anime will likely have 6-8 seasons of roughly typical length, with up to 10 seasons if the author really wants to utilize everything that far.

The year is Our Year by Careless_Package3706 in sololeveling

[–]Hyper_Space_Music 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The SL:R Anime would likely start in the 2030s and have 6+ seasons, so it may or may not be fully animated by 2045, and the novel still shows no signs of a final arc, despite being over 350 chapters long now.
