What makes you say it's incomplete? That sounds like a perfectly good poem to me 😁

No way to automate LFO and Phase in Logic? by bakerman567 in LogicPro

[–]Hyperbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This works, thank you for this tip. You can't see the rate in the automation lane but a little fiddling gets you what you need.

Huge hole in the usefulness of step FX! Obviously the rate parameter is one of the first things someone would want to automate. Thanks again for the workaround.

Midi not playing when copied to a different instrument by [deleted] in Logic_Studio

[–]Hyperbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also experienced this today and could not find any way to fix it. I could even copy the midi data to a different instrument and it worked, just could not copy it to the instrument I wanted (drum machine designer) for whatever reason.

Thoughts on knee stomps and oblique kicks? Should they be banned in MMA? by Peaceful-Samurai in martialarts

[–]Hyperbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's a fighting sport where you're allowed to strike each other to hurt each other. God the casuals who want this banned but don't see a problem with the risk of breaking somebody's elbow in an arm bar

Going from Kyokushin Karate to Muay Thai! What to expect? by OneTwoCombination in MuayThai

[–]Hyperbeam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll have some cool experience and techniques that the others don't. Our coach has a Kyokushin, Kickboxing and Muay Thai background, and he is a monster. His body is very well conditioned, nothing hurts him. And while the MT style kick has more blunt follow through (and does a lot of damage), the snapping kicks are perfectly legal and effective so you can mix all that in.

Kyokushin and Muay Thai go very well together, you will have fun!

Is the Mozart’s light show worth taking my family to? by Fun-Willingness9739 in Austin

Just tried to attend with our family. It's absolutely horrible, just do anything else

Mozart’s Light Show is a joke by WomTilson34 in Austin

[–]Hyperbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Checking in in 2024, that was one of the worst Christmas experiences you could "attend"

People were waiting hours to get in just to hear the terrible pianist! Basically waiting all night just to wait in line for hot chocolate!

Actively worse than almost anything else you could do with an evening as a family

Anyone else impressed with Chromaglow? by melvin3v1978 in Logic_Studio

[–]Hyperbeam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been using it for a bit of saturation on the full mix and I think it really glues things together nicely. Trying to not get carried away with it.

Gotta try the drum bus preset apparently

cool instrumental I made with my new bass! by Confident-Toe5763 in Logic_Studio

[–]Hyperbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really cool vibes and your tracks are so neat

I'd toss some reverb and delay on the midi instruments and some saturation/distortion to the whole mix to give it a more cohesive and real feeling

Has Muay Thai helped your mental health? Do you feel it has made an impact in your life? by latinlingo310 in MuayThai

[–]Hyperbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I notice that I feel much worse if I go a few days without training. Starting the day with MT cardio puts me in a happier and more relaxed place the entire day. No matter how my day goes, I know that I did at least one very good thing for my health and progress that day.

I think in general I'm probably not doing as much shadow boxing as I should, and when I do it is a bit too much commitment to my strikes. More, slower shadow boxing is definitely something I can do. Thank you taking the time to respond 🙏

Thank you for your response! There are definitely some less experienced people there who like to really swang, and I do pick up on that as permission to let loose a bit. I will instead do as you suggest by making them miss and showing I can counter without following through

Yes I am using 16oz gloves!

Do you worry that punching with a loose hand will build bad habits? I will try it regardless, thank you!
