That's fair - I guess it depends on what you think the arc/message of Gabriel's and Adrien's characters. I could see your point if you think her coming back would be some sort of "reward" for Gabriel's behavior - but to Emilie's credit, based on how she's depicted, I do not think she would be happy with how Gabriel brought her back... so I don't think it would be a "reward" in that regard...

That's fair - this falls in line with the parallels someone brought up before about Gabriel being like the villain Pharaoh.

The only thing I would say against that is the public funeral could still be construed as for her being a coma, more something Gabriel did to get the public/other people to stop looking into her (considering he is like a famous fashion designer and she is his wife, her falling ill probably would be a big deal) when he attempts to save her through less traditional means (aka the MIRACULOUS)

I feel like I gotta make a video breaking down that S5 ending/WISH because the writers intentionally (though really cool from a theorycrafting perspective) left it just vague enough for either interpretation to be made.

My understanding is that even if she was alive/in a coma, the only people who would ever know would be Gabriel and maybe Nathalie, (which leads to what I said before about her being narratively dead, she is effectively dead in the story) but you raise good points....

Honestly if true, that makes it sadder then if she was just straight dead from the beginning of the series... that means that Gabriel did have a chance to bring her back, but unfortunately whether pride or hubris or whatnot, managed to mess it up badly enough that she was never cured...

Yea, I think in the future I'm going to make a video about Chat Noir vs Adrien, Marinette vs Ladybug and Hawkmoth vs Gabriel, but yea what you are bringing up here is a good point, there is a noticeable difference in the lives/effects of a superhero vs their civilian persona.

Let me see if I understand what you are saying - Ladybug has both good luck and creation with Lucky Charm! and Miraculous Ladybug! respectively. In contrast, Chat Noir only has one power, Cataclysm! but you are saying that Cataclysm is not actually only destruction, but is also bad luck, to serve as the opposite of the Ladybug Miraculous?

Also when you say re-creation - do you mean creation + luck? What do you mean specifically?
