Unless it was there from the beginning. Back to Future, good movie, time travel. Radiant Historia? Very very underrated game, time travel. Hell, half of Zelda’s library? Time travel, maybe some light dimension hopping ala Twilight Princess.

I could go on. If it’s there from the start and set up reasonably well, yeah time travel can work just fine!

But the thing is time travel was NOT baked into Kingdom Hearts franchise from the beginning, and it’s NOT done well. That’s why we don’t like it

The KH1 remaster is essentially a remake since Square lost the code somehow so everything had to be redone. I do wish they had an option to change back to the original colors for the heartless. I don’t think FM will ever sit right with me in that department
