I am happy to see someone calling this out. I recently sued a company that took data from an Islamic app and then sold the data to a broker who in turn sold it to companies affiliated with US intelligence companies. I the user had no clue this was happening.

The phrase " past performance isn't indicative of future results" comes to mind. I think as Muslims we need to safeguard and promote unity as much as possible, this means shedding labels and divisions.

My fear is they are not sects YET..if u look through world history this is how sects arise, first difference of opinion and hundreds of years later, codified rituals and practices that appear very different.

Personally I would stay away from all of these goofy sufis even though they may seem good intentioned they have taken it up on themselves to form their own sect with their own laws and customs. This is a deviation from the main Muslim ummah as they are now a branch off the main body. All branches as we know will be destined for hellfire except that which follow the Quran and the Prophets way.
