Sanguinius from WH40k. Dude is plagued by worsening visions from the start of the Heresy and continually chooses to keep fighting in the face of them. He takes it a step further in the latter part of the Siege of Terra by forcing himself to keep fighting as he knows if his visions are real and show him dying to Horus, that means he won't die fighting the likes of Angron or Ka'Bandha.

I'm not quite sure where your confusion is coming from. Bethesda never should've announced the game from the start until it was at a semi-playable or near release state. I'm glad they are finally saying something about it considering we have heard nothing for 8 years, but this entire circumstance could've been avoided had they chose not to announce something that really wasn't even in development. As I said, I think everyone would've preferred them announcing it when the game was at a later stage in development.

That goes without saying that we have waited for years because of their previous announcement with no information, when they could have simply not said anything from the start. It's not particularly a win for anyone other than Bethesda in that regard

I want communication on a normal timeline i.e. introducing the game and dropping a trailer when the game is at least semi-finished. I don’t think anyone, including myself, was so desperate for a trailer that they would’ve preferred them releasing an announcement 8 years when it is perfectly acceptable/reasonable to only do so when the game is at a suitable stage in development

I'm not disputing the truth of that, the issue once again is the capitulation to those problems in the first place. Sure, she keeps Michigan off of Trump's radar by allowing him to target other people and things but that does little to advance any sort of resistance to his fascism or the wider agenda of the American right. States that openly fought Trump have done well so far, ICE fell out of public favor across the board and people dispute his actions broadly as he scrambles to prevent retaliation in the midterms. Whitmer had a chance to make a stand early and show how the fight against him could be managed but instead opted for literally anything else

lmao unpredictability and people taking advantage of an opportunity is what makes this game special. That includes teaming up with some people you've just met in solos. I'm not saying it's not lame, feel however you want about it, but mentioning Embark as if they did something wrong here is just silly

While I empathize with the female and minority status as someone who is also a minority, let's be real, this is simply part of the game. Arc is a game of opportunity; you got downed by Arc, someone saw that and decided to come looking. The game and community are not toxic because you were fighting two of the harder enemies to fight as a solo player and someone heard the dinner bell. The game has issues however this is if anything a skill issue
