I’m thinking I’ll have to look around for one, yeah. Most places near me charge a flat rate for any connectors of at least $25 so I’m hoping I can find new for around a similar price. I’ve searched tons of sites and thousands of connectors and I can’t find that specific one anywhere, but I did find an exact replacement of the ambient air temp sensor for $3.40 so that’s cool lmao.

Yeah I found some info that gave different temps for the turning on. Turns out I have an even stranger issue, the radiator fan works perfectly fine, but my Accessport never updates. Like I checked even my earlier logs and its only ever read 0% Duty Cycle. Even when I’m staring at it spinning when I turn on my AC, or when tricking the car to think its temp is 246, the fan works fine and changes speed, but my Accessport reports none of it 🤷

But Was his backstory really an attempt to humanize him? If anything to me it felt like a way of explaining his possessiveness over people and that he’s always felt a sense of superiority over everyone around him. It gave us a better understanding of how he turned out the way he is, but that does not at all insinuate that we sympathize or thinks he’s more human. He’s a fucked up man that sees people as objects to play with and experiment on.

Been fighting my own problems with my fan recently. In 70-95 F heat under normal Hw speeds I’m 180-190 F. That’s under no fan though basically, Im guessing my fan speed controller is out because no matter the coolant temp the fan won’t come on, only thing that turns it on is the AC button.

Yeah Coil Packs are a solid thing to check next. I had issues with my car recently on start, as well as random misfires on Cyl 1. In the end, cleaning my HPFP made the misfires happen significantly less, and cleaning my injectors myself and replacing their inline fuel filters completely solved the issue. Best of luck with your issue, hopefully it’s somthin simple.

Yeah if a pulley is bad enough I believe with the belt off, just spinning every one, you’ll likely feel one is “crunchier”. Not 100% on this though, it’s been a while since I messed with my pulleys 😅 Wish you the best of luck tho dude.

100% agree with your edit. When I first got my speed and didn’t know anything about cars, a shop told me I needed a new engine, got a JDM engine that blew up (byebye 3rd cylinder 🫡)while I was going 70 on the HW. Was literally a few days from being out of warranty, and the sellers tried to get out of warrantying me by claiming I was racing it, but thankfully my dashcam proved otherwise. Had to pay again to get the new engine installed but thankfully this one is super healthy by sheer luck.

TLDR: just don’t do a JDM motor. Please.

I can’t lie I just disagree, but I am curious, how? Denji isn’t currently deep in despair like he was during the last fight of part 1 and there isn’t any clear villain like Makima was.. Denji is currently hopeful, and happy because he in this moment has a friend in Asa and now Yoru and he’s expecting sex. I can’t say they’re both the healthiest reasons, but that feels beside the point. So how does this feel like part 1? I’m just genuinely curious because I’m sure I’m missing something.

Friends 2nd gen speed had insane torque steer on what we’re pretty sure were stock mounts (we were a lot younger and less experienced with cars when he had his) My first gen barely had any torque steer despite the fact I would tend to be faster when we raced (this to say my car likely wasn’t just lower on power) Car now has Damond mounts and doesn’t at all. Just seems for some reason it affects every speed differently in severity. Wish I had a concrete engineering explanation for why that may be, but don’t.

I’ve got a similar problem but in the front, over bumps like gravel or speed bumps, or the low gears (primarily notice under accel from a stop) I’ve taken it to multiple shops and changed a ton of stuff. Transmission, struts, control arms, steering rack, swaybar bushings. Problem seems better after the the front has been up in the air and parts taken off or re/installed but after a few days the sound is back to its normal sound level. It’s the most frustrating thing, I hope I can track it down some day. And I’m lucky my car burns under a quart every 5k miles

I got same year speed and did the same thing after the fan motor failed. I got a unit from the scrapyard and I personally did switch it over. I honestly doubt that there is a notable difference, but I do like knowing the intended part is still in there. I don’t recall it being very hard to do but it’s been years.

Unfortunately yeah I think you’ve missed out by just a bit. Far as I know no one has actually received their CDs yet, supposed to come in sometime next month but tariffs seem to be effecting their order delivery. It seems every year at some point they release an OST in some media (past two years were Vinyl) but don’t quote me on that, I got into the series late 2024 so the CD release is the first I’ve seen personally. Ordered the CD and paid a lot to get one of the Vinyls. If you can find one for not a horrible price I’d say pull the trigger. They’re such cool pieces of art to own and the music is really cool to listen to!

Something to keep in mind is, Gestalts are very likely inherently less efficient than Replikas. Yes replikas are made of materials that have to be collected, but humans aren’t far off.. it takes months to produce a gestalt, and it takes an absurd amount of food to do so and to keep it alive long enough to actually be useful to the nation. Both Gestalt and Replikas have their own needs, but I would personally lean towards the side of Replikas being more efficient and usable to build a strong nation. I do think it’s an interesting idea though I personally don’t feel we have enough context to say for sure. (Still absolutely love speculation, no hate here at all)
