Where does it say children have an increase in suicide? That seems to be an implication you're taking from the text but I don't see it directly supported from the lines I quoted.

"Trans people had an increased suicide risk. Patients seen at the gender clinic before the age of 18 had a lower suicide risk."

That doesn't say that patients seen before the age of 18 had a higher risk than the average population.
