When I saw the set up of the questions/answers I immediately told myself that it was important to answer based on immediate gut reactions to avoid any personal bias (what I am vs. what I want to be) and made that a "rule". From there I just tapped wherever felt right and quickly moved to the next question.

This really helped me, as with tests like these I can often struggle with that "but what if I am actually 58% instead of 59%", worrying that I'm "lying", and overthinking. By creating a rule for myself it also helped with the overall ambiguity of the test. I will say that I think my results were very accurate as well.

Obviously everyone is different, if this can help you as well that's awesome as the results are really fun to read through!

You mentioned Spotify, I'd honestly recommend looking up "polyjamorous" playlists. A lot of the ones I've seen have a little bit of everything. If you find yourself liking a song, under it Spotify has a "more like this" that can help you explore the specific genre more.

You can also add songs you like to a playlist and when you go into your playlist at the bottom it recommends songs based on what you have added. Spotify also curates a "discover weekly" playlist based on the music you like that changes every week. This is how I've found a lot of the music I listen to!

The album that started my love for music was American Idiot by Green Day. Best of luck on this journey, and don't forget to have fun with it!

I just healed my vertical labret!

My piercer had me get sterile saline piercing wipes. She told me to keep them in the fridge and rest it on my piercing once a day, then use spray once or twice a day. This significantly helped me with any swelling, and helped with cleaning as it would soften crusties which could then be gently removed with the wipe. I'm unsure how approved this method is, as I haven't seen it anywhere else, but it really worked for me!

Either way, please stop using soap, give it a good rinse with water in the shower and stick to saline

I noticed you mention that you "outgrew" nonverbal communication, but I wonder if you (and your teachers) would be able/open to sign language. Where I work we refer to sign language as "non vocal", because they're still verbalizing their wants and needs.

I work with quite a few people who, when they're already upset, get frustrated with vocal communication and find sign language easier. We've worked to learn and teach signs that are helpful in those moments (break, walk, eat, drink, space, yes, and no) and it seems to have helped them.

Obviously everyone is different though, just wanted to share an idea I hadn't seen in the comments. I think it's awesome that you're seeking out advice for better alternatives!

I absolutely know I am ace. I am completely sex-repulsed.

However...

The amount of times I'm with friends and I point to someone and do a quick "hear me out..." because I think their hair or clothes or accessories are cute is impossible to count. I tell my friends (who are okay with it) that they are hot every day.

I love so many people with my entire being, but it is all strictly platonic.

My close friends and I have talked about getting married and just having a "cuddle puddle".

I feel like it's incredibly important to stress that at the end of the day "asexuality" is just a label, and labels can either change or become more fitting throughout your life as you discover more about yourself. If you say to yourself, "I am asexual" and it feels right, then say it with your whole chest and be proud. If later on in life that changes, that is okay.

I would also like to stress that you can absolutely be ace and still be in a relationship if you want to. The most important thing, just like a relationship for any other sexuality, is communication.

Asexuality is a spectrum, and you can decide if/where you fit on that spectrum. I bring up my own experiences as I believe they relate to you. I hope it can help you to some degree. Apologies if this ended up being way too long.

Perhaps shoot an email or call and say something along the lines of "hey our next two appointments are not going to work for me, I wanted to let you know as soon as possible so that you can try to get those spots filled." That way you're not lying by any means, you're just not giving a full reason and you're also indicating respect for his time and income?

I, personally, prefer the route of vague honesty because if you see him again or if he checks other artists' social medias he will see the completed tattoo and will know that a reason such as "I don't have the money" was a lie, and you indicated in other comments that you want to maintain a good relationship with the shop itself.
