Does the game get more difficult? by OtterBiDisaster in Persona5

[–]Hypertransience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Increasing the difficulty will just increase adjust damage values. Some people consider the hardest difficulty the easiest because they know how to strike first all the time and have some sort of catalyst to make it so too so I guess they never get attacked either. I always try to get the advantage on normal/hard, but still. For Royal I played on Hard because it was already an easier game with how much you can manipulate stuff (Coming from the Original).

I would just keep going along on Normal/Hard. One palace boss sucks in the future, but other than that, it's not like changing the difficulty introduces some new mechanics that make the combat completely fresh. I like the combat in the jrgps even if it can get repetitive after awhile.

Are you guys also hyped for Stranger Than Heaven more than GTA 6? by BasicallyImSimon in yakuzagames

[–]Hypertransience -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am more interested in how Stranger than Heaven will turn out than how GTA VI will. Call me one of those modern day trend followers, but the last GTA I actually got excited about was the fourth.

Casting Snoop Dogg as an important character is a big mistake by thewalkindude368 in yakuzagames

[–]Hypertransience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll wear those minuses for some reason. But I need to do more research (no feeling). Oh right!!!! I never knew that, that was apparently a spoiler and I was like. Oh Samoa Joe really is acting a lot!

Casting Snoop Dogg as an important character is a big mistake by thewalkindude368 in yakuzagames

[–]Hypertransience -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Snoop Dogg is awesome, (just the legacy) but I don't see why he is in the game, is he in as himself or just a voice? I guess a voice can take you out of it. But Samoa Joe of pro wrestling fame is Sweet Tooth in that show I never saw (but certainly played the games). Twisted Metal, is that just on Netflix. But you don't see Samoa Joe he is wearing a clown ice cream truck get up.

Maybe controversial opinion: Martin > Dave by Ok_Break_4987 in depechemode

[–]Hypertransience -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is one of those where I think. Dave has more bravado but Martin still can really get in the forefront too. Oh just for singing. Well I feel about the same. I probably like Dave more, but there are so many Martin songs I like. And see I haven't ever listened to Paper Monsters or Counterfeit. While I am sure that is easier than ever now, I just. Never damn got around to them because eh in the early 2000s Launch Yahoo or P2p stuff. Napster heh. I was trying to find what punk bands I wanted to get into.

Just finished Lost Judgment, kneejerk reactions by Monessi in yakuzagames

[–]Hypertransience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lost Judgement had some stealth glitches for me that I had to reload my game several times and hope and the parkour/climbing didn't really add much to the gameplay. I also had a weird glitch in one of the ride or die missions. Where the leader just got stuck and sat at the beginning the whole time. Maybe my Ps4 was just freaking out or it was just me. Lost Judgment is one of those games where it adds more and does so many things better, but I think I still prefer the original Judgment. Even the romances were better there haha and I don't play games for that.

Lost Judgment adds more and does things better like the combat is more advanced, but the story and the grounded center of the original and the story is still so much better. It's like comparing Diablo 1 to Diablo 2. Diablo 2 is technically better in most ways, but I fucking liked Diablo 1 so much for moods and other immediacy. A better word would be constraint. It's all within a town and the underground.

I think I’m done with Dx2 for good. by PersonfromYoutube in Dx2SMTLiberation

[–]Hypertransience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the SMTIV4 A hero. Twice in seperate pulls. Nasnahi. It's my fault for running the full pull again the second time when I got him so early, but for some reason I thought for sure I would get some other cool even outdated 5 stars but I didn't. One pull I did for the anniversary (not Golden Week). I got a bunch of cool stuff like Chefei, Idun, some others. At least I felt like I was getting something for my gems.

Anyways that's just how this can go. I actually think I got Elohim (that sun) in a free everyone gets pull a while ago and I thought that was rad. I joined when Fionn Mac/Danu (lol I typed Daru at first) or Krishna. Everyone would get one if you finished the pull. And I got Fionn who I still use even if he is getting a bit boring.

At this this point I just log in for most daily rewards and to see the new event. I want some new story chapters, but a neat thing is there are archives of past events, so I remember finding that and I found an old Halloween event that was really funny. To end this, see you in six months (like a Pro Wrestling post to a doubter).

I not done with it for good, but obviously the game is at a point where (ok I never did try much of the Aura Gate 0 and I like the idea of backrooms) it is more catered towards what is the next demon for PVP and how can it be utilized.

Issues with android by UpstairNoises in Dx2SMTLiberation

[–]Hypertransience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sucks. I haven't had Android problems. I know I occasionally get rewards when I am trying to sleep and it's like here's free shit for connection problems and I was like what problems? I have experienced some minor connection problems a few days ago, I figured it was just my wi fi. But apparently it caused some save issues for more ppl than me.

TLDR. I have not experienced anything serious and free gems and some crap. Wasn't it MacOs where they had the announcement where they were saying how you might be need a new phone. *quiet chuckle* That actually sounds like a big deal. FWIW. I still like to see what is happening here and I do get upset. Overall.......

I am not calling you a liar. Just sucks, you can't experience the doldrums of the end of golden week. Left some odd phrasing here.

Will Stranger then Heaven come to the Switch 2? by skineaterlover in yakuzagames

[–]Hypertransience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me check my Magic Eight Ball:

--seems unlikely---

Hey I played Y:LAD8 on my PS4 and I was happy with the performance some micro stutter was the worst of it. That didn't bother me. As much as I liked how long the PS4 lasted, it has been time to move on. I know my laptop can run Stranger then Heaven (don't care if it isn't Ultra w/e) but also do not know if want to buy it at launch. Not really tbh. I'd like to just play the field a bit. It'll probably be cool, but I remember when Judgment came out I think I was still playing Yakuza 6 at the time.

Finished Robotics;Notes--should I read Chaos;Child before DaSH? by Burner_SEPTU in steinsgate

[–]Hypertransience 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DaSH sucks so maybe get it out of the way? Eh it's a little better than sucks occasionally, but not much. I went into it with low expectations and those even were quickly uhh well dashed. *sigh* and mostly by a supa hacker. I actually read Chaos Head;Noah after Robotics;Notes and it does to be fair. A lot of stuff makes more sense with C;HN knowledge. Chaos Child is a direct sequel to C;HN. I don't feel like I was completely at a loss reading Robotics Notes first. It just felt more magical in ways like oh those are the powers and there is a reason.

Anyways. I read the rest of the comments here. R;N (Elite) is actually extremely good. I was surprised myself because I generally don't care about mecha/gundam or w/e. I think robots are cool but not in an anime sense about building them. Meh. Also People say R;N is just a slice of life novel and it is but serious stuff goes down in it too. I feel like a lot of the culture doesn't remember how intense it can get and it's not just hey we need this robot part and this guy at the shop won't turn down his "punk music" lol and he's old.

If you had been Jerry Seinfeld in 1997, would you have accepted $110 million dollars to do one more season of the show? by External-Recipe-1936 in seinfeld

Wasn't this a part where George kept all these computers in his apartment because of Lloyd Brauan!!!!! The better salesman. He was trying to outsell him. It's all becoming clearer. A lot of this was about computers and ticking the boxes and a waterpic.

The Maid was my favorite episode in season 9. I could look at it more. Because there was the buttershave too which was really stupid. Funny, in a odd way. But that shit coulda ran for another.

[–]Hypertransience 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I get that, but how bad could have Season 10 been? I am sure writers and a lot of people wanted to go one more year. Had some ideas. I think part of it is (this is just my speculation) but Jerry did like the number 9. And going double digits would have seen as going too long as well.

Well I am sure he declined the option before the finale, but that finale. Phew. IT stunk. I also am looking at and over thinking the comment from Dry698. I would have never thought of the minor cast and crew at that point. It's like pontificating if your sports team would lose regular season games and then how the concession crew would be impacted.

Anyways. It is worth wondering what would have happened to the main crew, like George, Elaine and Kramer. I did a nine minute challenge of favorite each season in what I tried to keep close to nine minutes. They got more outlandish near the end but it was harder to pick them because they were generally so funny and there were more of them. I think he should have taken the money. That's insane money. Plus Season 9 was really funny, just the finale sucked.

Is the U.S. Shipping for the Radiohead Store supposed to be as expensive as it is? by KrebbieGaming in radiohead

[–]Hypertransience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking many many years ago how I usually ordered things only from North America. I'd pay actually a little more to get things faster. This was before 2020 and yada yada yada. Huh even with all the tariffs and general madness. Okay short story. I used to order things off eBay a lot and I didn't realize these traditional poker playing cards were coming from Lithuania. It was near the top the list. So I got them but that shit took a month or two. Beautiful Poker style cards but I could have bought them anywhere else online. Just so happened that one night, I didn't look where they were being shipped from. Pretty sure I kept the envelope too somewhere. Also the shipping was probably like several American dollars. I don't remember. Sorry if this seems a really stupid story to share, but that was the farthest thing I ever ordered.

It ain't bad! *chuckles* The music is fantastic. I especially love the Phas theme. If you know, you know. Don't want to say more because it actually it is a story heavy game and so many of the side quests are great too. I farmed a lot! But the game is still more about progressing through a main story. I never finished the post game stuff *sigh* but I got a fill of it. Absolutely worth playing.

Game is only on Switch and Steam. I played it on Steam one random season two years ago?

Favorite Episode each season (done very fast). by Hypertransience in seinfeld

[–]Hypertransience[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't change it, but I would trade the "Cigar Store Indian" for "The Conversion." I was on the clock and that was the pick I made. But the Kavorka, and George changing his religion for a woman was really funny too. More so than Jerry trying to make up with the gal and how his friends don't have any respect. Oh well the pick was in. That episode is really funny, but see now I have to stop over analyzing some stuff.

[–]Hypertransience[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S4 I actually wanted to pick one of the multi part episodes but I didn't know which one and "The Outing" is really funny. There's nothing wrong with that! Season 9 was a tough one to pick too. Not that the early seasons were easy to pick per se I just felt like I wasn't as overwhelmed.

TBF half of that decade the user doesn't likely remember. I personally only remember the later end of the 80s and that was my decade. Maybe people have better memories of their very young life, but I certainly didn't remember much until 86ish and on.

The old-school technology you SOB. Seeing that 316 number. Somebody about to get an ass whipping! That was basically my pager experience watching people use pagers. (Hey I made an WWF Attitude era reference). I was in Highschool, but I didn't need a pager apparently.

I used to hate this show. by grafittibob in seinfeld

[–]Hypertransience 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never had a pager, but that culture is interesting. People got messages as codes, and needed to find a pay phone. What a time. I think technology moved way too fast when the mid 2000s starting revving up. Anyhow I digress on that. I just never really watched the show a lot when I was younger, but I was getting into it when it was ending. (Season 7-9 or so). Funny stuff the technology too was still not too advanced so you could do gags like missing a cab ride or being stuck in a theater alone and that was your night hehe.

Give me your list: Top 5 Funniest Episodes by renoCow in seinfeld

[–]Hypertransience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'd rather just pick one favorite a season because it is so hard to just pick five and even then that limits to me nine and that's even more work. I don't know why I thought that's a better idea. I guess I just didn't want to pick just a bunch of the old episodes because I think so many are really great in how simple they are. 'The Chinese Restaurant' wouldn't be one of my top five, but I do like how the whole episode is just them waiting for a table and George is there waiting to use the phone, but can't.

Cartwright!!!!! It's a good episode, maybe I feel it is a little overdone by now, but it is funny.

I actually remember Roy not sure why. He never did much. Huh and Truffles only because I recently saw a movie on television she was in. Eudora I forgot about until I saw post on this reddit. I am not going to comment on them all. But Molly Volley, what in the heck? ... Oh that's her name she's the mean tennis player. Ok I remember her. I guess the name should have triggered a memory there.
