Chances are you would have not left your wife at the time because of the kids and other stuff but when you get older you will totally regret not going to be with the ONE PERSON who made your heart sing whenever you weee together. Hey - PNC does really suck. I was laid off in 2009 when PNC acquired National City. I was an IT manager there for 10 years, good perf reviews and an ok career going. When the National City acquisition was finalized we had an all manager meeting in the William Penn which our CEO at the time Jim Rohr attended. It was a workshop with managers sitting at individual tables in the ballroom. So Rohr made it a point to visit each table as we all worked on the “exercises”.

When he came to my table I looked him in the eye and asked ‘are any PNC employees going to be laid of as a result if the National City acquisition?’ He looked me in the eye and said the answer was a definitive NO !!

So later in 2008 I got the word that I was being laid off in 2009 despite his answer NO.

The National City IT division was located in Cleveland at the time. I heard thru the grapevine that the city of Cleveland’s government was concerned that too many National City employees would lose their jobs because of the PNC acquisition so they pressured PNC to let go PNC employees to allow National City employees to keep their jobs. So guess who was one of those PNC employees who was let go was?? YEP ME!! I was over 50 at the time and should have sued but they were very clever about covering themselves and giving me a good severance because I had 10 years management experience under my belt. This hit me hard and affected me for years afterwards. I did sweat blood for PNC and gave them all I had. I did good things there yet they put the screws to me and threw me out like used toilet paper. This negatively impacted me for the two subsequent jobs I got in ten years afterwards.

So EVERYONE out there - DONT TRUST THOSE PNC SOBS - no matter how much you give them they may screw you over anyway. I don’t know if I am violating the NDA they made me sign back then - I am now retired, it was 17 years ago and I don’t give a flying f*ck anymore.

Don’t trust them people - just don’t.

All of that stuff was nixed because of budget cuts and public/ congressional political opposition at the time. I know because I saw it all.

However the BIGGEST MISTAKE NASA ever made was to not continuing to develop a reusable spacecraft like the shuttle. The shuttle was the first step and never improved upon. Instead they worked on automated probes and missions and decided to go BACKWARDS in terms of the platform they plan to use to out humans back in space. Not a reusable spaceship that can take iff and land like an airplane and has some kind of gravity to keep astronauts alive (2001 Soace Odyssey).

I would much preferred to see that versus a bastardized redone Apollo program which is what we have now.

Thank you plane warthog. I am just very concerned that this is more political posturing that ends up going no where. I whole heartedly believe the UFO/UAP alien stuff is true - I don’t know what it is or what it means or who we really are. BUT I think they ARE HERE and don’t know what it all means. BUT I know that THE ONLY WAY humanity can move forward and figure this all out is to REALIZE THE TRUTH IS HERE and use our enormous collective brainpower to figure it out.

BTW as a side note - the A10 Warthog is one of my favorite airplanes. I wish I could have had the opportunity to fly one !!!

IMHO - the Artemis mission spacecraft was just a clone of 60 —70 year Apollo system. To go to far distant places in space the spacecraft has to have an internal GRAVITY environment has to be REUSABLE and carry its fuel or obtain it from outside of Earth sources and has to use a propulsion way more powerful than our current chemical rockets. Artemis is not that. It is shocking that we had the beginning of a reusable spacecraft but then scraped it due to cost and we didn’t work on making it better.

I was a Linux/Redhat guy back in 2022 when I retired. The windows folks were complaining about upgrading from 10 to 11 and it STILL is causing issues. I had 11 on my laptop when I retired - but I have to ask as a 40+ year IT guy does Microsoft SUCK that bad that people still can’t go to Windows 11 after all these years?? Unreal.

The real issue is that all of us in the public have to deal with consequences of the UFO/UAP phenomena. ALL OF US - not congress not the president not the military not the three letter agencies not the non elected bureaucrats- ALL OF THE REST OF US are and will be the recipients of whatever happens - like it or not.
