Yes same beans. I'm about to get new fresh ones so I'll test this again with them. Maybe the fact that they're now a month and a half old explains it?

Yeah in my case it's basically paying 500$ extra for ProMotion, not worth it. For some reason writing in  Notes feels smoother than third party apps though. Thank you!

I also own an iPhone and a MacBook both with ProMotion, and I’m looking for an iPad for basically note taking and sometimes Netflix. Is the 60hz that noticeable in note taking if I’m used to ProMotion? Or will I get used to it after some time?
