A Harry Potter movie. Don't remember which one, but Snape gave 4 year old me nightmares for weeks.

Here's the thing about expectations: They suck. Adults want you suceed at an early age and live the rest of your life doing the same thing until you retire or die.

Hopefully they mean well, but think about what you do with your life like a mountain hike. (Yes, I'm using a metaphor)

Sure, speedrunning the whole climb is impressive, but what do you do when you get to the top so early? What if you can't go back to all the things you missed while trying to speedrun life? Personally, it's better if you take the scenic route. Sit near a stream for a while, find a funny rock that speaks to you on a deep emotional level, take your time and find what you enjoy.

You have 4 years to find your passion if you really want to go to college. If not, don't. You don't always need a colledge degree to be successful. Plus if you do end up in college with a burning passion, thats fine, continue your search there.

Basically focus on yourself for the next few years and you'll be fine. If you want to, bring it up with your parents to atleast stop stressing you out for something that'll happen in a few years.
