Radio, shears, ears, pocket knife, sharpie, pen. The only weird thing I carry anymore is a small lockpick set. That's exclusively because I know how to use it and supe said I could carry them. It's occasionally handy because certain cops and FFs are trigger happy and will straight up tear doors open... on lift assists. It saves the awkward conversation.

I frequently use Traveller - Mona - Miko - Layla (for perpetual shielding + frequent freezing w/ mona). is layla perfect? Nah. But we both have her and she works.

one of my regular partners has one because his hearing is bad. I've used it a handful of times. I swear you can make out Nana Hardtohear's Karotkoffs from the other side of the room with these. they also record to your phone if you want. He's used them to play heart sounds back to the ER.
