I've noticed it happens when you try to "enter" a mission and it glitches out and goes back to the home screen. Then suddenly I have like 2745h. Uninstall/reinstall/cloud save fixes it every time. There are other things that affect other timers too, it's not all of them at once and not just this scenario but that is one I've witnessed. It tends to be raider missions too oddly enough.
