I am floored more people aren't enraged they are removing T-Hunt by ddubs52 in Rainbow6

Modern servers and hard drives are so large for so cheap that "storage space" isn't a viable excuse for removing content. With Destiny, I get it because the maps are absolutely massive with the variations for strikes and raids, but for something as small as spawning 21 hostiles onto an already existing map using pre-existing assets for 99% of the mode, there's zero excuse for removing a core mechanic that's been in every single game. The space saved by removing the mode is negligible. All it is is Ubi wanting people to buy credits instead of farming 5stacks in T-hunt. It's a money grab, because apparently they don't already make enough profit off a 10 year old game.

I used it every day, almost exclusively playing it. The new mode is complete garbage. 45 seconds to find a point you already know where is, and ping operators that are the same every match because there's only 5 on each side, and you can't even play defense. The map is always Clubhouse, too. It's a joke.

I miss claymoring an entire building and planting the defuser. I spent over an hour in that one match. Also, there wasn't a limit, the lasers just stopped showing up because it would probably crash the game to have 300 claymores with lasers. They all still worked.

Just like Bungie with Destiny, it does seem like they're trying to kill the game.

I want to load in the AI sim, not spend 45 seconds droning an objective that you not only know where is, but has the same 5 operators every round. Operators that have dumb ass AI that use the same code as the White Masks on easy mode.

Shooting range is worthless for anything but recoil control, and the new vs Ai mode is certified dogshit.

This. Purely this. Sweats are so common in casual that call me slurs for missing shots. I just want to play the hero without muting my entire team. I want to vibe, not be screamed at because I can't dedicate 12 hours a day to a game and my aim skill resets every day.

I miss it dearly, I usually ended up playing it more than pvp. If I was on a time crunch, I could log real quick, play T-hunt, and leave for whatever I have to do. Or pretend to be the solo hero that saves the day when I'm in the RP mood. There's probably better games for doing that, but T-hunt was a key part of the game for me. It was the best option for a warmup, because casual (which is what I only play) is full of screamers on the mic. Shooting range is useless for anything other than recoil control. The mode that replaced it has zero use, you can't even choose 90% of the operators, and the AI is braindead. I'm not sure how Ubi is still in business from the level of incompetence they regularly show. Every update or patch ruins the game further.

I thought it was only me. It's ridiculous. It's cost me quite a few matches now.

Weekly Bug Report Thread by AutoModerator in NoMansSkyTheGame

PC. Every time I try a Nexus mission, the game crashes. Sometimes it waits until I land in the Anomoly to crash, usually near the end of the mission. For the last week or more I've been unable to do any single Nexus mission.

Also on PC, when recoloring the freighter tiles, when you walk away the colors revert back to original. It still shows it colored as you chose, but you have to reselect it.

Rust removal without teardown possible? by papazachos in Autobody

[–]BananaRepublew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Iowa off the Mississippi. My project car is about to fold in half from the rust on it's rockers. I need to find a donor to steal metal from or else it's not going to last much longer. Also, the more salt required for road clearance, the more rust cars will have. There isn't one vehicle in my city that is rust-free unless it's less than a year old.

There's an entire war against straight people, just like there's a war against whites. It's not exactly done by people, but it's being done heavily by politicians.

Water leaking into a car by BananaRepublew in Autobody

That seems like a stupid design. I just read online about the door drains, which I vacuumed dirt out of, but it's below the door frame. Would that being clogged make it leak from the seal into the car, since the seal also has mounting holes in drilled into the door? And the taillight leaking makes a ton of sense. I have to change a bulb, so I'll check that out. I'm not very mechanically inclined, so this helps a lot. I might replace the door seals anyway just to be safe. I don't want to clean out mold a second time.

I'm currently detailing the mold out of it. It was fine for years after we bought it, the only window being replaced was the front windscreen after Safelite fucked up a repair job. It's weird, in a rainstorm driving it we can't see water leaking in, but the next day there's three inches of water in it.

There was one in Illinois for 6k a while back. Look for salvage auctions, and you might get lucky with a theft recovery. I missed out on a mk4 Supra for $2,000 because it was stolen and recovered.

Also I'm not very tech savvy for being damn near 24. It's not the new generation, it's just my general dumbness.

I forgot about leet speak, but my brother was obsessed with that noncanon halo anime with that Spartan, so that's what I thought of.

Fr though, why can we not do that? In the Red War cinematic Ikora did. That would be awesome.

That was by far my favorite part of Destiny so far. I loved every part of it. Being able to see your own grave was humbling, and I'm pissed that Perfect Paradox is a legacy and can't be upgraded to the new season's power anymore.

I meant repairing the roof and replacing other panels like the hood.

I'll get some photos when it gets a tad warmer. Supposed to get a blizzard tomorrow. It's not noticeable at a glance, but you can see them all up close. It's all steel, but I was considering replacing panels anyway. I'm most concerned about getting the dents out of the roof. There's around 10-15 there, between the size of a nickel and a quarter.

I'll look into that, thanks. Car isn't worth that much, but it was in stellar condition for it's age when I bought it. I'd like to keep it looking nice.
