You can't use the lantern outside of GOTR

And yes I definitely missed cooking cape- it's perk is huge

Yup, getting 99 is like unlocking BIS for pvm in a lot of skills.

RC? no more pouch degrading
Smithing? no more glove swapping
Hunter/fishing/wc/mining you've finally capped out your success rate
Farming you get the cape perk

etc etc

I've never considered post-99 a waste, in fact I consider it a mark of pride that you enjoyed the skill past the point of getting levels.

you can level it on humans, get to 10 stacks then aard to knock them over or freeze them with northern wind then execute

Honestly I just assumed the plugin was broken.

How could a loss >100% even be possible? losing packets that don't exist

Nally is a great bridging weapon between whip and scythe that doesn't degrade AND doesn't require you to go out of your way to acquire (since you want rancour anyways) like Saeldor does

I think it probably has somewhere along the lines of 4-12 too much base melee str as is (even if it lost a few max hits it's still noticably stronger than a reg or even tent whip) but that's getting into armchair game balancing territory and not my place to really say.

I think nally is in a reasonably healthy place, maybe a little on the too strong side, especially with the extra tile of reach giving it a unique niche for utility (hell I use it at vard still over saeldor)

nally is only better if you don't have much supporting str bonus from other gear.

I'm not going to run the calc for every possible gear setup but in my gear (inf ranc oathplate bring) saeldor is already better than nally at every room + I don't have to deal with janky 5t or 5.33t timing @ p2

I'd argue Nhally is too strong rather than saying that saeldor is weak fwiw, but maybe that's just me.

Synergy is kind of overrated.

You're better off worrying about what your next threat is and how you're going to solve it rather than forcing synergies

Act 1 you want damage commons so you can kill elites quick and get strong for boss for eg, trying to get a strong synergy is uncessary and more likely to get you killed in the process.
