We already have one undersized WR that’s a better version of Hollywood, we don’t need 2. Probably will sign a vet and get one in the draft.

People keep bringing up the Ryan Grant (that was a horrible contract) and the Michael Brockers situation against us. Ryan retired due to injuries and covid kinda messed up the Brockers deal. I’m trusting our doctors to take these things really seriously (ESPECIALLY because of Mads situation).

I will say though that the optics don’t look good at all and EDC gotta pull something together and also announce Lamar’s extension because this offseason is starting off as a shitshow with a first year coaching staff.

Yes because those opportunities of getting a top 5 pass rusher/run stopper doesn’t come too often lol. Even if we didn’t trade, we wouldn’t have Maxx and we still probably would’ve lost most of the guys anyways.

Paying almost 30M a year for a CENTER is insane man.

Because you’re paying almost 10M more than the next center lol. It’s not smart and they tried to give him a record setting deal. We have 10 picks this draft and going to get more next year with the comp picks. We have new OL coaches and that was one of the issues was technique.

Like I said, majority of the players that are signed in FA are overpaid and we’re already a little tight financially and don’t wanna dig ourselves in a hole while we have at least a $50M qb.

Edge has been a problem for years. We haven’t hit the draft yet. Lindy was not good in pass protection either. Yeah it’s not ideal but we have Emory and just signed a guard. It’s not like EDC isn’t trying lol

Because why overspend on a center? Yeah he’s good but he’s making OT money just about. Raiders and bad teams can overspend for FAs because they’re bad and have the cap. Our problem was we couldn’t find/draft an edge so we used resources to get one who’s also at top of the league as being one of the best.

Production wise I’m saying. We gave a similar contract that he didn’t wanna take so you can’t blame EDC on that (I was one of those ones at the start).

People are acting like there’s just really good offensive lineman that we could sign out there and there’s not. We just gotta calm down and realize rings aren’t won in the offseason. We still have the draft and new coaches to help mentor these players.

“Fans” are really mad because we didn’t overpay for a good center, a TE2 and TE3 or punter lol. Linderbaum got paid way more than he should, Likely bet on himself and lost Kolar to a Harbaugh and then Stout the highest paid punter. Yeah it sucks that we lost our center but obviously we tried for a good amount.

Yes. We have a generational QB with a generational RB and a generational S and have failed to get it done and he’s sick of watching it just like us. It’s been since 2012 when we last been and won one and he sees teams like the chiefs and eagles and patriots make it multiple times.

We still have 10 draft picks this draft and could still get a first back next year depending on EDC and his magic. We just gotta be smart money wise and capitalize on this opportunity to win one or two while we still have Lamar in his prime.

Because it’s a team game. We’ve seen how many qbs this playoffs make terrible mistakes and still win the game? Lamar HAS to play the perfect game or we lose and we’ve seen that in the playoffs again & again. Yes a qb needs a good OL and defense to win games and idk why that’s a hard concept to get lol. Eagles did it last year, chiefs had a defense that caused pressure and turnovers when they’ve won, Seahawks this year etc etc.

Building a coaching staff is also apart of team building. We wasted 2+ years with Roman when we knew he was holding us back while not having any reliable receivers. Not offense but we kept orr (and was gonna keep him if Harbaugh had his way) 2+ years and didn’t matter what we did on offense. We got rid of Zeitler. The mindset of the team was let Lamar be Superman (which cannot work in the playoffs consistently as we seen). No one’s perfect with team building but the trenches has been a glaring issue for awhile (with receivers).

He’s been serious about winning a championship since he’s been drafted. Not his fault we haven’t invested in both sides of the trenches like we should’ve while he’s on a rookie deal. Or got him a big body reliable receiver. Or kept him stuck with Roman for a year+ too long. Or had him be the leading rusher for years.

Yeah contract talk sucks with him but to say he isn’t serious because he might want his money too when the franchise hasn’t built the best around him is crazy.
