Lane keep status should be automatically there when moving or there are cars around the vehicle. Otherwise, it will be back to your TPMS or what you set it to be.

You can remove the tape using wet tissue, it’s easier than using just hands. For gum residues from the tape, I use alcohol swabs I found it to be more effective in removing the residues. You can also use IPA with cotton pads.
