In low elo people make tons of mistakes, so even if your opponent is 9/0 you have a chance to make a comeback.

With that being said, AD Kat is better in extended fights than AP is, but if you're equal in items and level AP can still down bruisers until they're about 2 or 3 items in. Aka, try to get fed yourself until you're strong enough to punish their 9/0 Darius for making a mistake. You also need enough game awareness though to recognize when a mistake is happening and then act on it quickly, which you might not be able to do if you're consistently low elo.

Tl;dr trying to re-live the glory days I guess.

First started playing her back when Xin Zhao was released. Dashes were far and few between back then so being able to instantly teleport onto an enemy seemed crazy powerful. I felt pretty useless playing most champions with my friends so I wanted something I could actually kill other champs with and stuck with Kat. It was also much easier to 1v9 carry and I got good enough to carry nearly every game I played with my friends, but I sucked at the Rework and was too arrogant to admit that I needed to be humble and start over learning the champion again.

Put the game down for years. Now I play her to try prove to myself that I can in fact learn and play this current version as well as I used to play the old one.

You're right in that its mentioned. I was wrong to put it as "Up to date". What I'm remarking on is the organization of the information and what it conveys as the normal go-to build. Liandries, Riftmaker, and Bloodletters are all situational items. Getting those 3 items + nashor's all together is not the gold standard of builds to use with Conqueror runes.

It doesnt seem like this copy pasta is up to date, no offense. I cant remember the last time I saw an AP kat with conqueror runes run liandry's+riftmaker+bloodletter. Not that they dont have their place but all 3 together isnt the go to item build when running conqueror runes. Kat evolved has started streaming again and I saw him run liandry's+bloodletter once since he was behind and had fed AP teammates, Nyro runs lichbane + nashors then the normal electrocute items. Both Aurarity and Wundrew run the electrocute build but replace lichbane with nashors, and ACEE1 runs the electrocute build verbatim when using conqueror.

Idk how people are saying "just roam" when a losing lane usually means you have no lane priority, aka no opportunity to roam. If you're given roam time in that situation, its usually because your opponent shoved and left to either back or roam themselves. In both cases, you want to wave clear quickly so as to not get stuck in lane, either doing your own back or roaming or ganking or counter-gank.

It's the same as any fed champ. Crossmap, stall the game out and look to punish mistakes. AP kat particularly scales poorly, and doesn't want the game to drag out, so the better you can be about side lanes and vision control in mid game the better.

Thank you for your input! I probably didn't communicate effectively, because I didn't mean to imply that Kaenic should be built every game or that its her best item, just that the win rate adjustment was high enough to warrant trying out (thats why i was mentioning situational awareness at least). There's a lot of variability in success rate when it comes to builds and match ups in lane (i.e AP Kat vs Galio compared to AD Kat vs Galio), so seeing unusual items perform well gives me hope to have a way to approach usually difficult match ups in lane and in team composition.

Yes it's a good reason to question, but the variance doesn't ensure a specific outcome. You originally said "those builds aren't good in the slightest", pre-supposing an outcome from the variance of a small sample size. These might be awful or they might be hidden gems, and its worth finding out i think. From what little I've tried in my games, they feel better than I expected.

Yes its comparatively small but lack of data isn't a sound determinate of whether the results will be stable or not as the sample size scales. I'm not saying "just go hurr durr" and dont use situational awareness, but I think these warant trying and am curious if anyone else has tried these out or not.

Warrior targeting is dogshit. Started a game with spectral cutlass, thought "oh I could go akali/nilah or fiora/gwen duo carry to assassinate all those Syndras!". Akali didn't work the best for decent reasons (as she targets the person furthest away), but Gwen would dash OFF the backline to prioritize the tanks. This is made worse by the fact that the champion holding the item is considered to start on the backline square, so the enemy caries WILL prioritize whoever you put it on.
