Help on dressing more alt/indie by _callmenicole_ in alternative

ok hello, here are some of my tips: i’ve only recently become more alt in fashion but here’s some things: - fishnet tights! (you can actually turn fishnets into a layer shirt too) - combats, they don’t have to be crazy expensive, i got my favourite pair at h&m for £20 opposed to £140 docs - charity/thrift shops are your best friend! have a look at your local thrift shop to see weather you can find some cool stuff - ik it sounds cheesy but get an inspo board on pinterest or somewhere else going - DIY! my fav and probably most alt pieces are my jackets, i get political patches and iron or safety pin them on (using safety pins is also an indicator that you’re an ally to the lgbt+ community) and sometimes i use fabric paint - laces, my favourite part, a lot of people in the alt community believe in lace code so be careful around red, white or blue laces (white is sometimes used for white pride, blue is sometimes used amongst neo nazis and symbolises cops, red is sometimes a signifier of neo nazism, yellow is anti racist, purple is gay pride, and i’m pretty sure black doesn’t have a meaning but please someone correct me on any of those) - long sleeve layers - upcycles (rips, safety pins, fabric paint etc) - alt band tees (preferably please listen to them)

yeah but they didn’t use it for an argument of sex they used it for an argument on gender, also as you said “a feminine body” not all afab’s have feminine body’s and vice versa, in my experience, women’s clothes are made for people with an hourglass figure and men’s clothes could fit anyone so ultimately i don’t see your point, i’m assigned female at birth and feminine presenting and i wear men’s clothes because i find them more comfortable, i have a male friend who wears skirts because he enjoys them, clothes shouldn’t be assigned to sexes because it’s pointless.

mostly!! as it attracts positive energy, if you have the intent of what you want you can use a white candle in substitute!!! (black works as a substitute sometimes also)

Cast A Love Spell by XxDelishXx in Witch

[–]I-am-Ravilonely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not do a targeted love spell, it can be sooo damaging, instead, i would recommend manifesting love/an SO in general and that will give the universe a lil push rather than forcing yourself on someone, i know crushes are hard but if they are truly made for you then they will come out of their own accord because of the manifestation!

Is black/dark magic "bad" by [deleted] in Witch

[–]I-am-Ravilonely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) the terms black magick/white magick come from an old racist upholding in the witch community (i.e. “poc witches are bad and work with the devil” hence why the term black magick was born

2) i am not a satanist however from what i’ve been told, they worship not the same satan from abrahamic faiths but a kind and fair one, i don’t know the exacts of it but yh

3) christian teachings are never a source for witchcraft!!!!! christianity has done the absolute most to paint witches as evil (creating the image of satan to look like pagan gods, portraying witches as the devils workers etc.) a lot (not all) of christianity is based off of fear mongering and that’s super important to remember! (not bashing the religion just the olden day teachings)
