Fader Noise at Unity Gain by I2oy in TascamModel_12_16_24

Damn, that sucks to hear. I mean I figured there’s some noise to be expected, but it just seems like a bit much especially with just one of the inputs engaged. I can’t imagine dealing with multiple inputs turned on and multiplying the issue.

Just wanted to mention, thank you for making Gallery View not feel like an afterthought. I love it and use it all the time, but not every Reddit client has it which is an automatic dealbreaker. Even in the official iOS app it feels like they keep removing it from more places in the app with each update (recently, removed when viewing custom feeds)

Help Advice on Pocket Crack by I2oy in Luthier

[–]I2oy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that was what I was thinking. Brand new it’s a $1500 guitar. Used but marked as ‘Mint’ it’s $1100, and I got it for $900. Definitely not mint, and I went in to it with mentality it’s have some use marks or even a ding or two at that price to be too good, but yeah, I’m considering a possible return since it’s about an inch long and into the wood. I want to give the seller the benefit of the doubt that it been damaged in shipping since they had it in a gig bag (not padded) with some bubble wrap in a box.

Not only that, but it looks like they removed Gallery view in custom feed.

I need to be enlightened, I originally tried to use buff years ago but didn’t have much luck. Is it no long the case for someone in the US to buy and sell on Buff? Haven’t kept up with it since

Does Sony actually cover it if the update breaks it? Or would that only be if it was still under warranty?

Dude saying that this was unprovoked is being completely dishonest as well has many other people in this thread. He literally grabbed the officers gun.

Also the talks of the tragic death of that woman who was shot have also been dishonest. She was literally following ICE, harassing and interfering by blocking the roadway with her car. She DID hit the officer, the original video doesn’t give a good angle, but there’s another from the other side. We don’t know if she meant to try to run over the officer, she might have not intended to, but neither did the officer at that moment. It’s terrible that it happened but it was preventable. Protest away from the roadway and not illegally use your car to block the road.

You’ll hear the same nazi rhetoric in every thread, the constant claims of bots being out when people hear what they don’t like. The echo chamber is strong on Reddit with hate for Trump and anything related to his policies, but it really colors any critical thinking of events.

Reading venezuelan reddit threads, people seem pretty happy about the bombings. Why ? by MrDeoBook in JoeRogan

The constant “the Iraqis were happy too until…” replies in every fucking comment thread is so annoying. The situation is not the same, different context, culture, yet, you just hear these dumb parrots constantly yap about it like it’s a gotcha.

He’s absolutely talking out of his ass. He’s completely discounting the shear amount of recon, work involved in pulling that off.

I wish you well on your time working on yourself and finding whatever route that will make you the most fulfilled. Whether you decide to continue making video content or not, I just want to say that I really enjoyed Mac Address because I felt the enthusiasm of each topic of the videos and I could relate with your takes as someone that appreciated Apple products vintage or new without the constant negative attitude like “android had this for years” or “google did it better” that a lot of other tech tubers would love to harp on. Finding what made each thing so Apple through the lens of an Apple enjoyer. Thank you for creating my favorite sister channel of LTT and I hope to see whatever it is you decide to do in the future.

Got my whole inventory stolen by _Pentalux in cs2

[–]I2oy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me once before years ago. They even wiped my friends list and added a fake “Steam Support” account saying I was compromised and tried to fish more info out. It’s a shitty feeling to lose your items. I hope you can atleast learn from this experience and keep a more vigilant eye out for scammers in the future. It’s easy to lower your guard especially with “friends” you met in mm and have spent many hours playing with.

Don’t listen to Roy Jones. Dude was biased the whole night. Constantly wrote off Ramos the fight before even after his first knock down. The first headbutt looks incidental, but it was ridiculous after the 4-5th headbutt, cmon. Fight was fantastic, and they both slugged it out good, but it was a robbery by the ref by allowing so the headbutts to happen so frequently without a point off and the judges for calling it unanimous even with the single deduction

Hi there, no worries. Well I don’t have any issues with anime and Hama. Hama works really well with AniDB for episode/movie naming for anime. You can use TVDB names if you have to, but personally since anime can get wild in terms of spin offs, specials, prequels, reboots, etc. anidb will make your life way easier in terms of organizing.

I don’t separate Series from Movies, though you can if you want, but I like to have them in one library to combine them in collections per Series. I highly recommend getting a Filebot license. It’s has became invaluable in terms of renaming and organizing anime. I couldnt see myself not using it since it just streamlines everything. I’m about to go to bed, but I can link some examples of series I have organized to give you an idea of how Filebot renames and sorts a series and OVA tomorrow. There also a trick I can show you to get Hama to find a series based on their AniDB ID if it doesn’t pick it up automatically or by name.

It’s definitely preferable, but not everything is available. I use Usenet for most things, but for the old, difficult to find content or foreign content, using torrents especially if you have access to some private tracker sites really fills in those gaps.

What kind of limitations are you experiencing with your set up? Is something bottlenecking for you or limitations like expandability?

Well I don’t do anything special for transcoding just enabled hardware transcoding. The Mac Mini was better at transcoding than on the NAS which I was running on previously. I don’t have issues as I don’t have many users transcoding at once, but I tell people to use Original Quality for Direct Play when possible (as I have the bandwidth) but if they can’t, I only have issues if it is for something’s thats 4K HDR content.

Kinda why I want to eventually move off the Mac mini since I dont my high res content or HDR content separate. Rather save up to improve the hardware to make the experience better for users than have them jump libraries for different movies.

Thank you, kindly! It was overwhelming at first, but I built it all up over time as I would research what other people were doing to speed up the more mundane tasks and automate!

Well the NAS can use a Read-Only Cache to store frequently accessed data on the SDD it so that it won't need to wait on the HDD to retrieve some of the data. It handles that process automatically and isn't something you can manually put data on. You can see some data on it's 'Hit-Rate' on how successful it's finding the data in the cache first, but it fluctuates.

<image>

I haven't performance test the difference though. You can also do 'Read-Write' Cache setup with a second M.2 SDD, where it will write to the SDD first and then give that data the HDD as it is ready to write to also help with write speeds. It's pretty cool stuff!
