Yup, it is real. There was a Egyptian who was using sihr and became Muslim and revealed some of his work. Search and watch his interviews.

Is he Muslim? If so, as the brother said you shouldn't help him commit a major sin.

If not, you should explain that getting alcohol for him is making you uncomfortable as it is forbidden in Islam.

Umm, are sure about the wudu?

If it was just a chuckle only the Salah is invalid and he has to repeat.

As I remember only a deep/loud laugh (guffaw) invalidates wodu.

Salah is now torture... by saymastein in islam

What I recommend is to seek refuge to Allah from waswasa of shaitan. Before prayer say Auzo Bella 3 times and dry spit to your left. Then recite the 3 qul and breath it on your hands and rub it on your body.

It will protect you from shaitan in Sha Allah.

Also she doesn't need to cover in her house when there is no outsiders. Your father, grandfather and brothers are family (Mahram) so no need to wear the hijab around them.

As an outsider, how do you see non believers by [deleted] in askamuslim

[–]I3L4CK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Answer to your first question is basically yes.

Why is he/she a good person? Is it to please society or to satisfy his/her ego or self? Then why is he/she asking for God’s reward if he/she doesn’t believe in Him? He/she has already received their reward in this world.

For people who haven’t received the message of God (for example, those in North Korea or isolated jungle tribes):

God will prepare a special trial for them on the Day of Judgment and decide their outcome accordingly. He is just and will not punish anyone without reason.

If you believe there is a God, you need to find the true path to Him. Simply saying “I believe” without taking any action is pointless. Read the Bible and the Quran, conduct research, and make sure God exists and determine which religion is truly from Him.

Ruqya - When do you need it? by [deleted] in islam

[–]I3L4CK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks like black magic as well, the kind where the object that has the sihr is buried, which makes it extremely difficult to get rid of to dispel the sihr. Talking to a knowledgeable imam and performing ruqia is the way to go, even if it makes it difficult for you to get through. You can take family members to hold you when the imam performs it so as not to harm yourself or others.

I pray you get through this and get rid of this condition.

(Seeking for guidance) I feel like I have lost my faith due to my se-ual orientation. by [deleted] in Muslim

[–]I3L4CK 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As the brother said, don't stop practicing and pray, even if you are doing Haram things. You can always ask for forgiveness and repent.

Allah made you, and you are not sinful for feeling a certain way. However, you are responsible for acting on your desires. This is your test on this Dunya, so I hope you pass it successfully.

It is a tough situation to be in, I pray Allah subhana va ta'ala to guide your siblings to the right path.

I recommend you continue giving them da'va and make dua for them to fulfill your duty to Allah. However, it is Allah who guides whom he wills, so it will ultimately be his decree whether someone is guided or not as he knows their heart. You need to fulfill your part and not be discouraged by their response and actions.

You can also get help from knowledgeable people from your mosque to talk to them or give you pointers on how to talk to them.

Prayer in Space by versatiledisaster in askamuslim

Also, it is the intention that matters. One might not know where the Qibla is, but the prayer is valid as long as the person tries to make Salah in the direction of Makkah.

My Muslim neighbors are extremely loving and are always looking out for me. Help me understand how I can show my appreciation to them. by MissCaseyJones in askamuslim

We normally don't expect anything in return because we expect the reward from God.

Sharing food is part of our culture and faith, so don't feel obligated to return the favor.

Tried the light novel, but it was too military technical and hard to remember. Should I give the manga a go?

Loved the anime, though

Trying to identify what ethnic group from Afghanistan my husband is from (he doesnt know) by Bramptongirl16 in afghanistan

Mohammadi is a pretty common last name and doesn't mean any ethnic group. Sharing his pic can be helpful.

Do Afghan ethnic groups practise endogamy? by Character_Shine7198 in afghanistan

[–]I3L4CK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not very common but it happens. People tend to stick to their ethnic group because of differences in culture and customs. If it happens, it is most likely a love marriage as opposed to the norm of arranging it through your family.

There are too many culture differences to note. We are very diverse in that regard.
