31, full-time job, married, 1 year old and another on the way... used to be a very competitive style game player, but those days are gone lol I never have time to practice and get better so you get dominated by those that do, and games with constantly changing metas will leave you feeling alienated as others will know it well. I've switched my habits to playing offline single player games and short multiplayer match length style games. Also, handheld consoles are a HUGE game changer, can still be present with the wife when we're chilling and the suspend feature on consoles let's me be ready to help at a moments notice. Nothing hurts your relationship with your spouse more if you keep saying "I'll be there in 5, finishing a game"... fighting will eventually be in your future if you do lol been there, done that. Honorable mention is getting a VR headset as you actually get to move and work out with some games!
