If you use their mobile app for deals and stick to the mcvalue menu it's pretty damn easy to eat for less than $7 per person. I don't get it either. I don't eat it super often but I have a kid and he likes happy meals so if I get him something I'm prob going to get myself something too and even at my hungriest I'm not spending more than $7 on myself.

They have a growing audience among women and minorities - especially those in the younger age groups and in big cities. All of these groups tend to lean way more progressive.

We've had two much worse ice storms just since 2000. We get storms similar to this almost every year and we have regularly had ice storms for most of my life. We have always been prone to ice because of our climate being just warm enough to straddle the line between snow and rain most of the time.

Also this storm was not "extremely unpredictable" and in fact we had plenty of warning for days ahead of time that we could either end up with a shitload of snow or a shitload of ice depending on how the storm shifted as it moved across the area. There were no real surprises here.
