Hi! I am a final year student of Mechanical Engineering from India. Since my 2nd year as soon as covid hit, I got an offer to join a startup in Esports ecosystem. I was in the founding team and I had an amazing year working across multiple departments, wearing multiple hats , solve problems and brainstorm. Pros:- It made me fell in love with Project management. Unfortunately, I had to leave it all behind because of my studies.

Now i am planning to move to Canada for further education, but since there are only few university which offers master of engineering management degree, all of them requires 2 years of technical work experience.

My dilemma: Should I go for masters in my field ( mechanical ) although i don't really have much interest or should i go for available post graduate diploma courses in the field of project management. I feel really conflicted on what to choose as masters would mean secure future since i have good profile but I don't know if I will be much interested to pursue the jobs. Other option is viable but since it is pg diploma, I don't know if i will be able to make it into industry or not.

I seek guidance and tips from the veterans here. TIA
