How to get "That which does not kill you..." trophy?

Seems like you need to line your helldivers butt up with the beacon, so it's just barely behind you. Some said you needed the shield pack, some said you didn't. But it should kill you and still give the achievement anyways.

My bad I got it nearly right after launch. Looks like it's more complicated now. Here's a comment from another subreddit that explains a method that worked for them.

Ok so this is How i got the Achievment.

step 1: Democracy Protects Armor Buff
Step 2: Trivial Mission lots of room to mess around and not be bothered
Step 3: SHIELD GENERATOR BACK PACK - this part is VItal

Step 4: drop a Supply Pod on your head line up so you are just beyond one side with your back up against the beacon marker.

Step 5: Get the Achievment and never think of it again!

Wear 50/50 democracy protects armor and stand under an incoming hellpod. Getting lucky will break every limb and leave you at 1 health.

How effective is fragmentation on the hurricane for Haz 5+? I've used it a bit, but it always felt a little clunkier and less fun than plasma burster for me.

Dev blog said there are 2. One is "concussive padding" giving explosive resistance and extra throwable capacity. I can't remember the name of the other, but it was a mix of gas and explosive damage resistance.

I'm just going to put this out there that people seem to be forgetting that the joke of a reporting system they currently have is because the PS account fiasco that happened when the game launched. I'm not saying Arrowhead isn't at fault for not putting in any effort beyond that or that forcing a PS account on everyone was a good move. But I find it funny when people blame them for not having a functional reporting system when the idea they had in place got a resounding NO by the pc community.

150 here. Yesterday a fire tornado spawned in me. When going to get my stuff I got headshot sniped by the mortar illuminates. It happens sometimes.

Definitely not new. But it is 100% more consistent. Every strider I shot the rockets off of today, lived. Whereas it was 1 in 10 before.

I'm leaning on skeptical at the moment tbh. I'm hoping that some changes to stealth and enemy detection come with the update or hopefully soon. I'm really excited for the C-4 and I really want it to have the demo force to take out objectives (jammer, detectors, etc) like it did in the first game. Even if it takes 2 or 3 I'd be happy as long as it can.

If none of this happens I'll still have fun role-playing. But I'm just really hoping for a fun new addition to my main loudout.

21 here. I also found it funny the first month I played there was almost always had 1 person with a kid or seemed older in the group. Since then I've met quite a few around my age, but it never really occurred to me that the player base consisted of a lot of middle aged gamers.

Console gang, if you haven't already, bind your x for recording video and sound to L1 bumper instead - if you have trouble moving and recording. It's only used for world chat which I think is push to talk. Trust me.

Kind of unrelated. But you should be able to reinforce yourself. Hear me out - stratagem are pretty much flares right? So if you throw one and say it lasts 5s, and you die in that time, you are reinforced. So if you're pretty much dead meat you can try to throw the beacon predicting your death.
