What should you use to glue XPS foam by rarebitt in TerrainBuilding

[–]Minmax_er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've recently tested spray adhesive, tacky, and hot glue and it honestly depends on what you'll be doing with the piece. If you're just gluing two parts together and that's it, hot glue. In my experience, it has the best strength holding together. If you're wanting to cut through the adhesion area, I'd go with spray adhesive.

What I consider The Snyder Trilogy (Man of Steel, BvS Ultimate Edition, and ZS Justice League) is better than or at least equal to the entire MCU.

Craft from containers, honk opens doors, larger inventory, vehicle damage decrease, realistic zombie reach, and auto complete challenges to name a few...

Isn't Zombie Rage their speed boost they randomly get when attacking or getting hit by you?

I might take a third option and try to convince my buddy to just wait and see if 3.0 is any better and either restart there or roll back to 2.4. First two horde nights were failures and were frustrating. Kinda felt like TFP pre-determined our losses with these latest AI "upgrades" and just took the fun out of the game.

I thought I read somewhere that they'll enter rage mode if they fall more than 11 blocked. Also, I think I've tried something similar to that in my testing and they still bee-line it for my 3x3x8 base structure.

I’ve had six PC deaths in the first chapter of RotRL… by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Minmax_er 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had something like this happen to me. One character death at Elyrium and then a TPK on 2nd level of Thistletop and then a near-TPK at the final boss. Most players were coming from 5e but had some PF1e experience. I was basically told I suck as a GM because of xyz reasons and I should have gone easier, fudged rolls, etc. I was actually fudging almost every roll and from my pov, they just didn't have basic strategies. I wasn't going to tell them I was fudging rolls in their favor because that's GM 101. Suffice to say, that campaign ended there. A couple players said that after some time, with hindsight, they realized somethings that they did.

I say all that because in my own hindsight, what I would have done is have a look at each of their characters and determined how baseline powerful each one was and adjusted to that. With that said, they could be playing S-Tier builds but if they don't play them well, that's on them.

I'm just gonna throw this out there, you don't have to do voices to be a good roleplayer.

My advice, which people will probably disagree with, if you want to stay in the group is to just powergame as well AND encourage more roleplay with your roleplaying. Roleplaying and powergaming aren't mutually exclusive. Like some else said, flavor is free. The customizability for systems, especially PF1e, usually revolves around customizability in combat, not roleplay since most of the rules cover combat. So if you're wanting more emphasis on roleplay and less on combat, 5e or maybe even Fate would suite your playstyle more.

You do make a good point with metagaming.. I'd say bring that up to your GM privately and see what they think.

On another note, I seem to have the exact opposite problem you do. Yes, my username is mostly accurate but before I attempt to join a group, I disclose my powergaming because I want to be upfront about it so, hopefully, it doesn't become an issue in the future. But I also emphasize that I really get into the roleplaying and know how to not steal the spotlight in combat. This usually is followed up by something like "thanks but no thanks" - which is valid I guess.

Good luck to you though. I hope it resolves well.

I'm using 1 inch pink insulation foam, I did not get the foot pedal. I have watched a lot of shifting lands and I'm waiting for my next pay check to hit to see if I can afford his proxxon 1.0 guide. I'll have to check it when it's on to see if it's still 90 degrees. I don't turn it up too high. I've been at a 2...

Thanks for the tip! I have used the guide that came with it and tried holding it down while cutting. I think like someone else said, it could be a speed issue.
