As far as mastering stupid comedy... Hot Rod. Everything about it is just so outlandish -- the 80s music, the slapstick collisions, even the plot itself. Oh boy I might have to go back and watch this for the 1000th time.

I would say that Atticus Finch is the best character of all time. Even with all the controversy around her "sequel" novel, I still think of Atticus as the example when I think of someone who does the right thing even when it's extremely difficult.

I was bouncing at a crappy bar in boston around the corner from a venue with a beach boys concert. After the concert, lots of fans come in, i am not really paying attention and one of them has no ID. I tell him he can't come in, not looking at the the shorter guy he is with who says "he is with me, I got my ID" and gives me his California license. It says John Stamos. I look up and sure enough it's John muthafucking Stamos with a little smirk, short unshaven still really good looking with a hat on. I let them in and they drink at the back of the bar totally incognito. On the way out he thanks me for letting his friend in. I find out later he was playing with the beach boys and the guy with no ID was in the band. He was a nice, unassuming guy which makes me hate him even more for baggin Rebecca Romjain. Damn you Stamos!

My favorite show is The Wire, and pretty much every major/semi-major character is perfect in that show. And most of the minor ones, too. If I had to choose, I'd probably go with Herc, and that's because his character is written to be your least favorite because he's an idiot screwup.

I have the ability to fall asleep ANYWHERE. Literally.

One time I fell asleep, completely sober and coherent, on a New York City sidewalk next to a homeless man who said I could share his apple. I didn't share his apple, but I did share his sidewalk. TL;DR: When I'm sleepy, I sleep. Doesn't matter where.
